Lindsey's VCE Tutoring

I had Lindsey as my English (EAL) tutor since the beginning of year 12. She helped me exceed what I thought was my max throughout the year and as a result, I graduated as the EAL Dux of my cohort.Although my tutorial class with Lindsey was rather large with around 8-10 students from different schools, I did not feel excluded at all since Lindsey would follow up with her students individually during the whole tutorial.One of the strengths Lindsey has is that she is not hesitated to give constructive criticism to her students’ work. This might be difficult to follow at first, but once the student has a good grasp of this teaching, they would progress much faster.I highly recommend Lindsey as an EAL tutor! What she can offer her students are a large range of resources, enthusiasm in teaching, continuous motivation, and dedication to work closely with each of her students.

Ella has been such a great support throughout my English journey. Her extensive feedback and continuous guidance has allowed me to improve my confidence in my writing ability. The resources provided in class are also highly detailed and tailored to address any areas of concern whilst giving us a competitive advantage. Ella also ensures that the content we cover during class prepares us sufficiently before our SACs and she pays close attention to the course timeline we follow in school. Her host of experience, including that she also has completed VCE herself, enables her to provide us with personal tips and tricks she used when she was in year twelve. I'm really grateful for all the help that Ella has given me and I would strongly recommend her services to anyone interested!

Lindsey and Ella have done the impossible. Being a STEM inclined student who has always struggled and despised english, coming to them was the best decision i've made. I dont know how Ella and Lindsey have somehow transformed me into an English enjoyer in the span of a term, but my confidence in english (and results!) have sky rocketed. They always provide me with detailed, tremendous feedback in (no joke) a matter of hours, and i love how they have the option to come into the classy classroom or join online, so i would definitely recommend:)

Lots of A+ notes that are analysed to a completely different level that allows your analysis to be unique from every other student in your cohort and worksheets that she is able to provide to you for extra practice which helps a lot !!!With the help of my tutor (Tia) from Lindsey's English Tutoring, I was able to elevate my standard by a lot even though I joined really last minute ! I wouldn't have been able to achieve what I did without Tia's and Lindsey's help !Super helpful as well in terms of the detailed and large amounts of feedback they give you on the practice essays that you hand in which allows me to further extend my knowledge and improve on the next one !Highly recommend Lindsey's tutoring for anyone that is studying VCE English as the benefits she can offer is definitely worth it !

Highly recommend! Lindsey helped me receive a 42 in English (EAL) and a certificate of excellence from my school. Lindsey was my EAL tutor and I’ve never regretted my decision to study with her. My knowledge of the text I was doing was substantially improved and she gave many helpful tips and resources (not just for English but also for other subjects). Her strength is definitely expanding her students' vocabulary! Without Lindsey, my EAL skills wouldn’t have improved from A to A+ and I’m still grateful for her ‘endless capacity’ for helping students! She would be more than just an amazing tutor to you!!!

Joining Lindsey's English Tutoring is the wisest decision I have made in year 12:). My grade improve significantly thanks to my tutors ( Will and Brian ).I joined later than everyone and not only that I also finished earlier but my grades still improve significantly. ( my lowest score throughout yr 12 for eal is 80% )Will is especially patient so the class atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. He always make sure to cover EVERY DETAILS and give very helpful feedback that is able to please my teacher ( this is a very rare case :) ).Brian is my text response tutor, he is dedicated and his feedback is always valuable and helpful, not much tutor would respond to your essay at 3am but he will:). Brian is also incredibly patient, I'm a slow leaner but he always take out his time to help me with the things that I struggle with.Anyway, please consider lindsey's! You will nor regret it! Great tutors, variety of resources at an affordable price! You will not regret it!

Honestly, my literature tutor (William) is the best tutor I’ve ever had. His patience makes classes more comfortable and I’m able to learn well.His teaching style also suit my learning as his explanations are really detailed and simple to understand. I feel so lucky to have such a great tutor!The resources on the website are also super helpful, that text response template saved my essay! (Thank you Lindsey~)

Lindsey's VCE Tutoring were really good in terms of communicating. I think they’re really adaptable and you can tell that the Lindsey and her team running it, really care about the students doing well. Chief Performance Officer Ella Waldman a tutor who teaches both online and in-person never ceases to impress me in how much she goes above and beyond providing me with lots of specific feedback. Also helping me make my writing sound much better then it would have been. Choosing this tutoring company has made me much more confident in my writing and was a great idea considering how much I lacked in English.
