French Rox

I have been taking French classes with Roxane for a number of years and as an adult student it has been really enjoyable and rewarding to see the progress over this time. Roxane is a lovely teacher who is dedicated and patient. She makes lessons fun and conversation in French feel natural!

Roxanne from French Rox is a great French teacher, her lessons make learning the French language fun and interesting. My 2 children are French, but got to an Australian school. We did not want them to loose their French, and be able to study or work in a French speaking country if they wanted to.Roxane has been very good at engaging my 2 children, 15 and 12, to improve their writing, grammar and vocabulary. Roxane is an excellent teacher. I have been studying French with her for almost 3 years and although I started as a beginner I feel I have progressed quickly under her guidance. She is very patient and always encouraging but I particularly love that she teaches me to speak “correct” French as well as learning the speaking language. As Roxane is a native speaker of the language I also love that I am hearing authentic pronunciation of the language. I always look forward to my weekly lesson.

As a very late-in-life learner of French, I first met Roxane two-and-a-half years ago when I commenced French as a complete beginner. Roxane has so much patience! As a native, she has a complete understanding of French grammar and is highly in-tune with where I am at in terms of speaking, listening, writing, reading and comprehension. She is also a lovely person who I look forward to seeing each week. She makes learning fun and interesting and caters to students of all ages and levels. She explains things clearly which I appreciate after so many years since studying. My French has already advanced more than I could have imagined and I look forward to many years working with her. I cannot recommend Roxane highly enough.
