I can only speak for the hot springs but they were very nice. We really enjoyed going from the plunge pool back into a hot spring. We felt so relaxed afterwards. We will definitely go back for some more hot spring sessions

MIXED REVIEW -Accommodation:-my partner and i got a queen deluxe room with an ocean view.We got up to our room to find our ocean view was only really visible in the corner of the room near the balcony door all we could see from the actual room was the blue and green buildings next door. The room was very clean :) but also for a queen deluxe very small. The bed and pillows were solid and uncomfortable to sleep on, as well as very little bedding. Also came to find that there were no plates, bowls, or cutlery. thankfully there is coffee cups and a kettle. :) I also recommend to bring your own toilet paper as its like sandpaper.Service:-Service was absolutely amazing, every one has been friendly and helpful except for one employee who i found to be rude and arrogant. (Would have gotten 5 stars if not for one staff member)Hot Springs:-this is experience is definitely one that i will be back for, i loved the ambient music playing and the therapeutic effects of the pools, it would have been a little bit more healing and relaxing if there wasn't people yelling in caves and being a bit too overcrowded but also taking into mind it was the first day into school holidays.i will be back at a less busier time for sure.

The hotel was rated and reviewed fairly well that's why we booked it despite it being extremely expensive. As the name suggests, there are hot springs and given the massive price tag we thought it was logical to assume that hot springs are part of the deal. Well they aren't.On arrival we were informed that the hot springs are to be booked and basically most slots have been booked out already. On top of that we were charged $68 each despite being hotel guests, that is absolutely outrageous! The room itself was mediocre at best, the bed was horrendously uncomfortable and the bathroom was divided from the main room by a moving mirror wall that kept flipping open so we had to put luggage in front of it to keep it closed. The car parks in the garage were limited and we had to park our car outside for 2 nights. An absolutely disappointing experience and we'd never pick this place again

We stayed in the 2 bedroom penthouse over Christmas and we had the best time. Upon reading some of the reviews for this place we were worried about the cleanliness but we found it spotless. The only suggestion we have is a fan for the room near the entry would have been ideal as it got quite hot .Other than that the Staff were lovely and the amneties were really good. The location is perfect, right across from the beach.

Spent one night at Deep blue as we wanted to visit the hot springs. Room was nice with modern furnishings but very dark at night time, only had a few down lights of which one wasn't working. Our stay felt very rushed after doing the early morning bathing session, if you wanted an 11am checkout it was an extra $10, which I think is a bit steep considering you are already pumping money into the establishment. Beautiful walk along the boardwalk at the beach in front of the hotel if you have time Average stay overall.

Great room but hot springs experience was very mediocre. Should be better supervised to stop some guests staying in the best pools for hours. Breakfast was the worst ever -- only plastic scrambled eggs - any other eggs were an extra $2!! Hot water for tea/coffee was lukewarm. Large gap under room door not good for noise etc.

The service provided was horrible. The check in person had zero customer service skills. We asked for a late check out if there was one available on which she advised that they were short staffed and can’t do it. We asked another person later during that evening and thy offered us a late check out without any question and were happy to extend it by 2 hours. The rooms were a bit dated. No one answered the room service number upon calling multiple times. Rattling noise from the drains. It is high time that the Australian hospitality industry should stop using the ‘staff shortage’ excuse for bad customer service. You are charging exorbitant prices in the name of increased cost of staff but yet don’t recruit sufficient staff. No wonder, people prefer to go overseas than travelling within Australia.

This was a really positive experience and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The hot springs were lovely, even on the day it rained. I never found the purple cave that was on the website but the pools were well laid out to move around for different temperatures. The downside was having nowhere to leave your towel or robe but out in the rain. Maybe some little cubicles around the place would be a positive addition.

This was our first visit to the Deep Blue Hotel. A great location and comfortable stay, but the value for money factor here is low. I understand that the accommodation rates skyrocket during January due to demand, but then having to pay extra for a very small/limited breakfast buffet and for a visit to your hot springs is a stretch. Surely, we could have had that breakfast and at least 1 complimentary session to the hot springs included? I could have stayed at the Crown Melbourne for these rates and wouldn't have to pay for so many extras.

I found the waitress for breakfast so rude. Avoid the girl with the nose and lip ring. When entering the breakfast area we found there was not to much food left but we was at the end of the service time.I had a couple of pieces of toast and found there was no butter. I asked the girl with the jewelry. She came back with a bowl full I grabbed three butters for my two pieces of toast and my wife's toast. The jewelry girl made a suggestion to me to take one or two as we get so much wastage. This is not what I expected from wait staff when paying for two full breakfasts. Telling me I should only take one or two butters at a buffet breakfast. Maybe think before you open it next time at look at the whole situation.Would I stay again, definitely not.
