Lotus Inn Restaurant
Excellent San Choy Bao, Singapore Noodles and Tiger Prawns in XO sauce. Recommend having menu and prices online to help customers understand what is available and the prices beforehand. Will order again otherwise. Cheers.

Lotus Inn Restaurant
The seafood special fried rice was sensational. I asked for some XO sauce which I mixed through the rice. Salt + pepper king prawns and a chicken and onion omelette was enough to satisfy a very sizeable appetite! Service was prompt, courteous and entertaining and the fortune cookies at the finish sent the right message for me. All in all a very enjoyable Sunday night dinner.

Long-time institution on the upper north shore that I think has been in existence longer than I’ve been alive. Always popular for both dine-in and takeaway meals, Lotus Inn offers traditional (Australian) style Chinese cuisine that is cooked to perfection. Serving sizes are more than ample and after dining here I guarantee you’ll be back. Does get busy and can be noisy but that’s part of the experience. Recommended.

Absolutely divine, this hidden gem surprised me! The food was brought out so quickly and tasted incredible. The staff were super helpful and kind. Will definitely be coming again <3

Almost didn't go in as the place looks like so many other Chinese restaurants in suburban Australia. Glad we did. The eggplant with tofu in Szechuan sauce was worth the visit alone. My wife's a vegetarian and she said it was one of the best eggplant dishes she's ever had. My Kung pow prawns were very good but not spicy and the veggie fried rice was really tasty. Super friendly service and the feel of a restaurant that's been making good food for a long time. We'll be back.

Accommodating, friendly staff, giving you the feeling of family. Busy place. Very old fashioned and a little tired ambiance, including menu design, feels like back in the '80s and '90s. Food was so, so. Again, felt old fashioned, westernised Asian cuisine. Considering all that, it is a little pricey for what it is.

Friendly staff. Juicy big prawns but tasteless. Mongolian Lamb tender and delicious. Pork in plum sauce very good. Fried rice very plain. Our dinner had ups and downs. 94year old grandmother thought it was fabulous as it brought back so many happy memories.

Today was the 3rd time in a row that we disapponted in our take away meal. Lotus Inn was our go-to Chinese restaurant for many years. We will not try again.
