My Husband and I would like to thank the team at Green Cross Vets Southport for assisting us to navigate through the passing of our beloved Baby Girl, Minkzy. Your compassion and understanding through this extremely distressing time for us, is greatly appreciated. My dog injected a 20g of dark chocolate. The vet quoted me $80 for the throwing up and injection cost for my dog. But the reception gave me a $596 bill. I asked why is such big difference. She wants to charge $260 for admission as my dog only need to be treated in half an hour only. And $250 for injection. I got a quote from Gold Coast vet surgery with a much reasonable cost. I won’t come back to green cross although I have a green cross plus membership. Wasted to pay that monthly.

I would give 0 stars if I could and I won't return to this business. In 2021 I paid $88 for a vaccination for my 9kg dog, in 2022 it was $101, in 2023 it was $150. They're not offering any value, especially since half of the vaccination squirted in my face when the vet administered the injection into my dog and the receptionist was 'wierded out' by my phone call (her exact words to me), when I called to question the 50% price increase. She also told me to take it up with Greencross vets - which I thought I was doing by calling Greencross vets in Southport.

First visit and we felt really happy to have come with our fur baby. Reception staff friendly and provided detailed answers to questions. Vet was caring and again provided alot of information to questions asked. Lots of options and other services provided. We will return:)

If I could do 0 stars I would, got my puppy her last vaccination. Saying she will need another in a couple of months when the next one isn’t until the yearly booster. Trying to do a flea and tick shot which she just had her nexguard. Trying to get me to desex her when I told them no multiple times. Trying to get me to do a heart worm shot when she just had her nexguard.. if I did all this. This would consider overdosing which she would have died. DO NOT COME HERE! Very rude also

Friendly enough. Had good availability and was able to get our cat seen on the day we needed. We went seeking advice about our cat who had taken a fall and not quite landed on his feet! He recovered well with a few days rest and staying off his foot!

Greencross Vets Southport have the most caring staff. They really look after my pet. They explain every detail very well before anything is done. The after-care service is wonderful. I would recommend them to everyone. The new surgery is just beautiful. Plenty of parking and it is free.
