I'm just back from Liberty Hair Design Kawana. Read my review here.I have been living on the Sunshine Coast for 4 years now after moving from Brisbane and my family and I have been trialling hairdressers galore to fill the spot of our beloved Brisbane hairdresser, nobody filled it so we were left to travelling down to Brisbane to our old hairdresser, well that was until today!!!Colby was phenomenal and I will go even further and say he was exceptionally better than our trusted hairdresser in Brisbane. He listened, empathised and just got what I was looking for not only in a hair style but in hair health also.After being sick for so long, my hair was poor, but he guided me through treatments and products without pressuring, I will repeat, without pressuring!!! He left everything to me, just made suggestions.I Showed Colby a picture of what I wanted to achieve and I’m astonished, my family are astonished, my hair mirrored the picture I went in looking for, but without damaging my hair health.Colby is phenomenal and as long as I live in Australia and this fabulous city of the Sunshine Coast, my family and I will never go to anyone else but Colby! Without him knowing it, he has become our hair health and dresser guru!Thank you ColbyMichelle

I recently visited Liberty Hair Salon in Kawabana and I was blown away by their exceptional service! The team was incredibly fast and efficient, and they worked together seamlessly to achieve a common goal. I was impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail, and they made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my visit.

I was very impressed with Colby's knowledge and confidence. I was unhappy with my grey 'salt and pepper' hair and wanted something a little brighter and uplifting. Colby quickly understood the look I was after. I was also very happy with the trim he gave me. I left the salon feeling delighted with the whole experience.

What a lovely person Colby is. He is confident in his knowledge which made me comfortable I would get a great outcome and I certainly did.Only one negative is that when I made the appointment I was not advised about the package deal @ $188. I thought I was coming in for a hair cut and 15 foils @ $114. . Perhaps his should be explained a bit better. I totally understand but it was a bit of a surprise. The level of care and attention to detail is worth every cent.Thank you Colby

I should preface this by saying I've had keratin done before a few times with different salons and am fully aware that the treatment doesn't give fully straight hair. I'm rather just comparing to the other experiences I've had.8-9 months after my last treatment, my natural curls were starting to come through which was very noticeable from the weird wave pattern around my fringe. I basically dropped $400 to walk out with what I went in with. The treatment was almost 3 times faster than what I've had in the past and perhaps that was a flag but you don't really know how well the treatment has gone until the post-straightening has been washed out.I liked when my stylist was struggling to do my fringe and essentially gave up, because now it's very curly and the weird wave-like pattern I went in with is still very much so there.

Michelle was amazing from start to finish. She ensured she knew exactly what I wanted, she made me comfortable and then she did her magic. She didn’t rush and she made me feel like she had dedicated the whole afternoon to me. Not only is she a great hair stylist and colourant but she maintains a great conversation as well. 5 stars. Can’t recommend more highly. Thank you for lovely job you did on my hair.
