a beautiful, dare i say one of my most favourite, restaurants i've visited in melb located just off the craziness of chapel st. stepping in its a lot larger and deeper than expected, with beautiful dim lighting and furniture to create the perfect cosy ambience with also the bustle people and bar vibes. service was so friendly and attentive, with the menu being explained thouroughly, questions answered, recommendations given and regular water top ups and check ins. the food, delectable! the nduja toastie was spicer than expected but so yummy! and the lobster pasta.....the perfect al dente and deep and hearty sauce, so good. the tiramisu (as always) is a must also. check out their beautiful range of wines and cocktails too! thankyou neptune, memorable and cannot wait to return to some of the best vibes and food i've had in melb!

The orecchiette pasta was phenomenal. It's probably the best pasta I've had in years! Accompanied it with the Salumi plate, fries, and a tiramisu. All washed down with a house G&T and a bottle of the Maressa Pinot. Service was fantastic... loved, the vibe, and will be back for my birthday.

Unfortunately I used to love the food here but seems they have changed their chef/menu. The crab pasta is different and so is the broccolini. Not sure why the change but when I went here in 2021 it was amazing. Food is not as good

A beautiful wine bar with excellent food and great wines available by glass (and plenty by bottle displayed on the walls). The octopus was cooked to perfection. A great place for date night, drinks or small gathering in a stylish space.

The Saturday apertivo special is good value. You get a large selection of finger food and snacks and the price is decent. If you add the bottomless drinks package, you get a big selection of drinks (there were 4 really nice wines to choose from). The staff are nice - they're quick to top you up if you're drink is getting low. It's nice for a casual, chilled out few drinks on a Saturday afternoon.

Really like the service and the food here. The fairy toast was the best, crunchy toast topped with popping fish roes was great. The steak tartare was also fabulous. Scallop and kingfish crudo was nice. Hubby had duck frites which him and the kids really liked, although I found the frites a bit soggy. I had the spanner crab pasta which I found flavourless and a bit too oily. The kids shared a rigatoni and the kitchen thoughtfully separated the dish into two dishes so we don’t have to do it ourselves, definitely bonus points there.Their gin cocktail w grapes and citrus was delish but I was very obsessed with the German resling I had there. Yum. Overall a very good meal.

Every dish was delicious looking forward to trying more pasta! Potato bread I would order every time.We had dinner on a rainy evening and the bar / restaurant was relaxed and cozy. Also nice tables outside which are dog friendly and perfect on a nicer day.
