Nesuto Canberra Apartment Hotel

The price was very affordable. The room was well-equipped, restroom very clean and windows allowed for fresh air- really made the experience great. The people who kept the rooms and at the front desk were accommodating when needed. Having greenery and birdsong in such close proximity outside of the room enhanced our week-long stay at Nesuto.

Convenient location.Pool was not heated enough. Cold water. Disappointed about it.Wanted to book a place with a pool as per the request from the kid. But she couldn’t stay in the pool for a long as the water was cold.Sofa bed mattress was in poor quality. Hard to sleep on it.

I booked a room from a website, but the hotel didn’t receive the booking information. The reception didn’t ask us to check in and want to check the problem with the booking website. The reception said that it was my fault instead of them. But I have received a successful confirmation. The reception only gave us advice that we can cancel the reservation, then pay the money to them directly. But the price was double compared with what we required to pay initially.

The location is fantastic to be able to walk to everything.There is a lot of traffic noise in the rooms late at night and the hotel decor is quite dated, lots of marks on the walls and not a lot of love in the overall furniture. When I walked onto the balcony there was significant noise in the glass and cracking in the exterior.I'd probably not return to this one if given a choice

The price is good with relation to location.The odd was bathroom didn’t have lock - the lock was damaged. I was not there with my partner or kids - so should be expecting bathroom with lock. Booked the apartment room - it was good overall.Wifi is not so good - poor speed.Kitchen was neat and clean - all the kitchen stuffs were pretty good and in mint condition.

Terrible customer service, added on cost for parking wich wasn’t told to us upon booking and on arrival had to pay for 2 nights parking to then be kicked out of the carpark before 12 on the next day wich our parking tickets date was valid to the following day & we were told they’d be charging if we didn’t move our car. Also requested late checkout to be told no upon arrival. Staff were very rude & hotel is genuinely very ran down

The reception’s attitude is very bad. I have made a booking of a room from a website and the platform confirm the booking for me. However, the receptionist said that the booking confirmation didn’t come through, and want to charge us double price as the website shown.

Nothing positive to say about this place unfortunately. Not very friendly. Rooms not great and cramped. Had to use a broken fold out bed, which couldn't be unfolded. Apartments below with lots of really stinky Asian cooking which wafted straight into the room. Pool upstairs was actually quite good, though also looked like the whole area could do with a good clean.Hotel of last resort.

Charged me extra for a cleaning fee because one table was moved out of place, took over a month to reply to my email and only replied as I chased it up and still didn’t refund or answer my query about why I was charged.Using the fold out lounge was an extra $50 a night which we weren't told about until after we booked, so when the room says it fits 5 the price doesn’t reflect this when you book.Parking is expensive at $20 a night. You can get cheaper parking in the shopping centre around the corner.Had a noise complaint but when trying to tell them it was the room above ours that was yelling and playing loud music they said no they had a complaint for OUR room in quite a rude manner.Old and outdated, use to be better a few years ago before they changed owners.

The front male staff was not respectful, he needs to learn how to speak with the incoming customer. I visited on 13th May @2:30PM, to complete the booking which was initiated over the phone. I visited the counter the staff was rude, never showed respect, we (4 guests) were about to book but watching his behaviour, we left without booking and went to Kingston (Adina) which was good, customer services was 10/10, we were satisfied with the service.
