Julia Creek Villas

After arriving in town in the dark and finding the place, I was looking for the after hours check in or maybe an envelope with my name on it. Tried calling. No answer. Found reception which was in darkness but an adjacent door was ajar so I tried that thinking this must be where I get my key. Oooh no. This is the doorway to being abused. Apparently guests are not welcome after 6 pm and there's no provision for travellers who don't conform. Apparently I should have used my head" plus many other suggestions from the manager. Following the heated exchange I was given a key to a room. The bed was comfortable even if it was stained."

Normal motel facilities, clean, but very noisy airconditioner

Like walking back into in 73.. seriously but bloody great..The rooms were clean ( even better than the mecure at Kakadu) ..Spacious and good value for money .. Bathroom separate to the main sleeping and eating area.Had a all the stuff you needed to stay a night or a week ... The water pressure was brilliant, hot water fantastic... staff were friendly and other guest very welcomingThe pub was 1 block away and had the best feed I have had for a while..The staff at the pub were brillant with a great attitude to travellers . A beautiful old style country pub.. with a great view and beer garden...The only thing was the Ac was a tad noisy and the TV very small but hey a choice of fixtel or normal TV.. so no need to write any bad reviews

Very clean and the lady who owns the place is a lovely lady. Self contained and just peaceful. Will return if I visit Julia Creek again

All the facilities you need on a road trip. Wheelchair accessible, bars/gripping rails in the toilet, a ramp from the carpark to the rooms. Very friendly service from Rita.This was also the first place we saw free roaming emus after travelling from Hervey Bay to Uluru and back via Mount Isa. Rooms equipped with stove, grill, microwave and toaster. It was a pleasure.

Clean had everything we needed for our short stay. The owner picked us up at the railway station at 2:00am a lovely lady.

Arrived very late at night and was put into a room no issues, very basic room which is all i was looking for, fair price for one night, $99 with enough space to sleep at least 4. Shower, toilet, microwave, mini fridge, tv, ice cold A/C but no Wifi

Dated but sufficient

The master bedroom was so tiny that the double bed was pushed hard against the wall on 2 sides thus meaning that i had to climb over my husband to get into bed, there wasn't even enough room for a bedside table, so no lamp either. There was no air-conditioning, no ceiling fan, not even a pedestal fan and yet in the second bedroom there were 2 king single beds, 2 bedside tables with lamps and yes, air-conditioning & ceiling fans along with clothes cupboards, very poor guys
