Wow, very nice. Our fish was the best part, we both had coral trout, I had battered and the wife had grilled. Both were awesome.Wife's grilled could have had more vegetables, but big piece of fish made up for it.

Extremely overpriced and tiny portions. I am by no means a big eater, but to pay over $40 for two slim pieces of mackerel with some chopped fruit is absolutely outrageous. I did mention my dissatisfaction with the staff, and they asked if I was dissatisfied with the serving size, so they obviously know of the issue, but despite the reviews here saying the same, they are not doing anything about it. Terrible.

I ordered the crispy skinned Coral Trout.The fish wasn't scaled at all before being cooked, as shown in image. I removed the skin before trying the flesh, hoping it was just a mistake, however, it was extremely overcooked and was like rubber. Very disappointing considering the ~$39 price tag.The waiting staff weren't particularly friendly and didn't seem to care if we were happy with the meals or not.Unfortunate and a bit sad all round.

Devine dining experience in the centre of Cooktown! I was surprised by the quality of the dishes on the menu & dined there twice to try out everything on the menu including breakfast as well!The Chef really took the time to create some magnificent dishes offering some local produce to my surprise and delight!The sharing platter with kangaroo was exotic & perfect for the travellers wanting to try out roo meat!By far my favourite was the surprising bursts of flavour exuding from the finger limes on the scallop dish! I will never forget them & had to ask the Chef all about them!The restaurant was set up as a luxury dining experience with the calm tropical romantic ambiance! The cocktails were extremely good!The pricing was more than reasonable for the classy meals I tried!I highly recommend dining here!!

Eat here If you want to pay a lot of money and go home hungry. The meals are very overpriced and way too small!We arrived at an almost empty restaurant only to get told its fully booked and we had to wait 45min for a table for 4. After 45 minutes we came back. The tables were still empty and we were seated at a table for 8 that was one of the empty tables when we got there 45 minutes before.The food was served quickly, the taste was OK and the staff was friendly. I still would not go back. It's not worth it.We ended up getting some pizzas at the bar underneath so we didn't have to go to bed hungry.

Terrible and very overpriced!Oysters kilpatrick - lacking bacon and crispy bacon not soggy because too much sauce was used.Oysters were served with teaspoons instead of the proper cutlery.Berry Lamb - lamb overcooked. Potato mash - either deb whip or microwaved from the day before.The best part of the dinner was the sunset.
