Best Bite Pizza

One star is one star too many. This joke for a pizza outlet claims to have been nominated for a best Pizza (on the Gold Coast) award. I ask when is a nomination an award? Anyone can make a nomination, and without such an award, this claim appears nothing more than an attempt to dupe.On Saturday (22 April) I ordered a large pepperoni pizza with anchovies. The cost was $31.95 (including $5 for the anchovies). To say we (3 of us) were disappointed is an understatement. The pizza was wafer thin with a under-cooked bottom. The pepperoni was buried under a very small amount of mushrooms and cheese, and there were no anchovies. We saved two pieces to take back to the shop (the next day) to support our complaint.The young lady initially asked if I wanted a refund, and I said all I want is what I had ordered. She advised that she would make me a smaller pizza. I said no, I want what I ordered (in hindsight I regret this and should have accepted her offer). I then took a seat outside with one of my friends.The young lady then returned, stating that she had rung her manager who advised that he would give me a !0% discount on my next order. I said this was not good enough (10% would not even cover the cost of the missing anchovies). I rang the second store and spoke to the manager (Jamie) who advised that their policy is that the pizza must be returned the same day and that there must be at least half the pizza remaining. He was totally uncompromising and when I asked him where this policy was written, he advised that it was verbal.I am a former university lecturer in Business, and had also managed my own Canberra based service industry business for many years. I had a sign on my front counter advising customers that if they were ever dissatisfied, then please let us be the first to know, so that we can correct it. I suggest this poor excuse for a food outlet do the same. I will stick to Dominoes in the future, at least a customer stands a chance of getting what he/she pays for.

Need to update their delivery times for apps. Allowing customers to order, yet not open sending delivery drivers on goose chasers! Waste of time and money.

Usually the pizzas are great and delicious. But this time I got a pizza with uncooked dough. Taste like flour in my mouth. A bit disappointed with my late dinner.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE - Tried the pizzas here and just like many other recent reviews they were very poor. Upon walking into the store we had to listen to the owner with glasses verbally abuse and embaress the young staff member infront of all the customers for simply picking up the wrong pizza, this is completely unacceptable and you should be ashamed of yourself. I knew at this point I wasn't going to support this business again. When home we opened the gourmet" seafood pizza and it was far from gourmet

Ordered at 410pm after they opened. Called us at 430pm to say they haven’t made any dough yet and no one turned up for work. Told to pick up at 5pm. Go down at 5pm. Machine for dough not working ??? No refund available have to call or email to get refund. ???? Called number on email receipt and no answer. Pretty dismal effort. Must be a reason no staff turn up as well

We have given this place a few goes noe. First time was reasonable with lots of toppings to justify the price. Now you get two average size pizzas for $50 with barely anything on it! Total rip off. Can go to Domino's or Pizza Hut and pay half the price and get better value.Not to mention every time we go it take an hour to get your takeaway order and the shop is empty.

The most horrible tasting pizza I have ever had. Picked up from the Upper Coomera store. Two pizzas are uncooked and one is burnt. The base has no flavour and the cheese is sour. Absolutely disgusting experience!

How this place got Top 10 anything 2020 & 2021" is beyond me. Don't ignore the recent reviews on here

Such good food. They staff is really polite. Their pasta and cheesy garlic bread is a must try.

I've been going loyally for over two years almost weekly.The last month each week the pizza has been worst. We have never got a special before because my partner is vegan. The one time i got a special pizza it was really different to the full price so avoided like the plaugue. Tonight i got a sad pizza and 3 times in a row, this is the last time. This was a 5 star review now 2.We are always made to wait 45mins to an hour in the cold even though they say 15-20mins.This was ok when the pizza was amazing.I could easily justify a 1 star review here but because I was a loyal customer so long I don't want to do it.. this is half of a $40 order... honestly guys the $5 ones are better than this. Dough with no toppings, barely cooked.
