Stephen was amazing with me. The tools he has taught me are invaluable. I could not praise him highly enough, he really knows his stuff and even if it’s confronting I would suggest sticking with it, the results really are worth it. I drove to Newcastle from Queensland to see him first visit as I was having no success locally, it was worth it, the rest we have done through video chat and I can not thank him enough

I went to Stephen due to some childhood trauma that was effecting my relationship with my partner and in the first session, without knowing me, asked me to visualise and focus on the feeling of emptiness. I began to cry and told him I didn’t want to continue (because I didn’t feel safe with him after only speaking to him briefly) and he than ended our session 10 minutes early while I still had tears in my eyes. I went into my car and cried and left feeling terrible. His phone rang and alarm went off during our session and I feel that he spoke too much about his personal life and opinions that was not necessary or helpful to me at all. He was attempting to do exposure therapy with me without knowing my history or current state. I think it is important to open people up like this, but it must be done with care and awareness and it must not be done in a rush or on the very first session. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I have only just started seeing Stephen, and he has already been so helpful, i'm glad i have finally found someone that is so easy to open up to, while also demonstrating a thorough knowledge of anxiety psychology.
