The staff members are unhelpful, very slow response to custom request. I had waited more than half an hour just for a scoop of ice cream but decided to gave up as the staffs know but they just don’t care. The food is so so except chewy beef, too sweet sauce, super fat salad dressing and the scallops are definitely not fresh. The price has increased and the menu has negatively changed. Given what I paid and what I received, it’s such a waste. I have never left 1 star review for any business regardless of their services, but this one is so exceptional.

First time here, been wanting to try for a while. Interesting concept. You have a 2 hour sitting and can order as much as you can eat of entree sized serves. They also have a la carte. If you have any leftovers over 100g you get charged $10! Stops wastage. Food and service was great! Some of the alcohol prices were a bit high. We got Lychee cider, $9.50, only 1.15% alcohol! Price is $45 per head. Excuse blurry photos!

Isshin Japanese Restaurant Forest Hill
We have been there on Saturday dinner 2nd session and many ppl waiting. but not waiting too long time then have the seat.Reasonable price $49 per person So the although there is not many choices on menu, it is totally understood in terms of the price. They have been served very quickly and very good service.I recommend for family reunion and many friends catch up party.

Would definitely recommend going here. Get the most out of your money at Isshin. I’ve come here several times and they never fail to disappoint me. My favourite meal are the tempura prawns. Great place to eat.

Went for the AYCE lunch at 12pm. We were sat down at 12.05 but didn't get our food till at least 12.35. Food was mediocre. The sauce used on most of the dishes were the same and made most of the dishes tasted identical. The beef tataki was dismal as there was only 6 pieces of meat. The barramundi served was thin and wasn't fresh. I couldn't even taste the scallop in one of the dishes served. Not a very enjoyable dining experience.

Isshin Japanese Restaurant Forest Hill
By far one of the best order at the table buffets I've ever been to. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Personal favourites were the dory fish, the teriyaki steak and the scallops. The prawn spring rolls and tempura were also fantastic! Top it off with the black sesame ice cream for an amazing visit.
