From Hideous To ExquisiteI made the mistake of asking another prominent Wollongong jeweler to craft a ring from 4 existing diamond and sapphire rings. The result was so ugly (pic 1), I couldn't look at it, let alone wear it. The problems included a flawed visualisation process, lack of frank advice and poor judgement.Crown's robust processes (pic 3) and John Inan's experience and informed suggestions produced an exquisite ring (pic 2) that constantly delights me.Surprisingly, his price to remodel the ugly ring (including removing all stones and melting down the white gold, supplying 2 extra sapphires, visualising and constructing the new design, recording all stones and weights, and providing a valuation for insurance) was lower than I'd paid for just the ugly ring from the other jeweller.I couldn't be happier. .

By far the best jewellers in Wollongong!

Disgraceful, violent, aggressive staff. Took a ring to be sized. When I went to pick it up it had been damaged beyond repair. Staff yelled, swore, threatened and intimidated me. Blamed me for not knowing the ring detail (enamel and gold plating) would be removed in the resizing process. Had to take them to the tribunal.

Went in to get a pendant repaired and the gentleman did it quickly and free of charge - very lovely of him!!
