Rapid Bay Jetty
Have loved this place ever since I was little when we’d camp here almost on every school holiday. Beautiful character to the old jetty and a nice new jetty is in place. I hope the old jetty remains there too as it adds to the great vibe. Perfect spot for camping right on the beach front and extremely affordable.Definitely a must see in South Australia.

Rapid Bay Jetty
Awesome easy to walk jetty, has been recently built at a cost of 3.9M to replace the old conveyor jetty which use to run material to ships for abroad. The old jetty is still there and looks like a skeleton to best describe it however the new jetty is brilliant and a much better jetty, however the seaweed is no longer there as the old jetty is closer to the seaweed, so the squid aren’t as much as they use to be. Can catch the occasionalSquid and the occasional barracuda and a breeze too. Water looks clean aswell.

Amazing - To see it going into ruins. Ironical, people spend a lot of money to build things and then structures become relics. I heard it is apparently a dive sight for scoobies.

What a fantastic beach and jetty. It was great to see some divers getting set up for a dive. The water was absolutely beautiful and clear. The beach was so different in colour and texture. The cave area down the opposite was good to see also

Interesting rock and coastal landscape area. There is a new jetty here, built next to the old working jetty, that was partial broken in a storm.. A great place to experience and enjoy the daily sunsets.. Very picturesque..

Rapid Bay Jetty
I was looking for caves and found this place, very beautiful and scenic and the best part there is a caravan park next to it. Beach is scenic and 700 meter walk from the cave that you would definitely like to see. I would recommend this place to chill relax. I think camping is not allowed but you can stay in the open area caravan park and can pay upfront for your stay without booking. Loved this place. Recommend for group of friends not recommended for children.

My favourite squidding jetty down south of Adelaide. Has toilet facilities adjacent to the caravan park.

Absolutely love this jetty apart from when there's an overload of humans there........ we're lucky to have it in our part of this world crystal clear beautiful water.Just for those who don't know...... also where the largest land based Great White Shark was caught.
