Sheesh Mahal Indian Restaurant
Worst experience. Will not recommend at all. Was told 45 minute delivery, had to ring after an hour to find out where my order was. They told me 5 minutes, 15 minutes later the driver rings me asking where I am, standing at my door waiting for my food. I had to go out on the street to look for the driver who was 3 houses down the road. The food delivered was cold, the bag the naans were in was wet thru and disintegrating, the rice was cold, the chicken was so dry it made you gag to swallow, the food was inedible. And all of this was a birthday dinner so a birthday ruined as it went in the bin and we ended up cooking steak. Waste of money and a ruined birthday.

A very disappointing experience.The garlic naan was like they had given me a day old one heated in the microwave. The edges were so hard that I could neither cut it with a knife or break it apart. The softer middle was like leather swimming in what seemed like bottled garlic paste. I had one bite and disposed of it.The mattar paneer had a nice flavour but a little too much sugar in the tomato based sauce. The cubes of paneer were once again leathery and hard. I had to eat around the paneer and after a few bites ended up throwing it away.I had high hopes for the tandoori lamb chops and they were reasonably good, although a little sinewy. The flavour of these were nice and would have been great if the lemon wedge served with it had any juice in it and didn't still have a bad section in it. The best part of this dish was condiment it came with.This is the 2nd time I've tried this restaurant and it was more disappointing than the first time. It was a complete waste of my money for a meal that was mostly inedible.I will not be ordering from here again.

The tea tasted horrible and placed it in a takeaway box. The food isn't authentic Indian. Bad taste. Its not Indian cooking. Rubbish.

I accidentally tried this restaurant as my favorite Indian restaurant in Brisbane was closed at the time. And so this is my favorite from now on. It was really amazing. I ordered goat biriyani and it was really delicious with juicy meat. Try this goat biriyani, which is the magic of chef Jahangeer, if you're a biriyani lover. I'm often going to visit this place for this juicy goat biriyani.

Excellent place for desi food. Authentic taste and great service. May be not very fast but good enough for us to keep coming back. Halal meat offered.We ordered Nihari and this is the best we had in Brisbane. Chikken tikka and tandoori fish were good as well. Owned by Mr. Jahangeer and he is a wonderful guy. Would be coming back and try more variety.

Ordered from Uber eats. Food was warm when it arrived so that’s good. The food itself was shocking. ALL of the meat from the mixed grill to the chicken kebab was burnt and dry. Won’t be ordering again. Two meals for $80. Waste of money.

Unfortunately we felt our meals were very bland, no flavour and very oily. The food was not fresh and appeared to be microwaved or reheated. Very dissatisfied as we usually love to support local.

Sheesh Mahal Indian Restaurant
I ate here with a group of 5 and we absolutely loved it, the food was amazing and the service was exceptional. The owner/chef and all staff were all super lovely. I've had takeaway from here before and enjoyed it, but it was so nice sitting at the restaurant, will definitely be back regularly. Thanks again!

ordered veg briyani and samosa..but we received a day old samosa which is heated up and served.veg briyani with all old vegetable chunks in it.this resto is owned by 1 & only chef and owner Mr.Jack.
