Bright MTB - Mountain Bike Guiding & Instructing

My partner and I are MTB beginners and decided a lesson would be a good place to start. Andrew was great at assessing where we were at and pitching the lesson to our level. Andrew is a very good communicator and was very encouraging, despite our basic skills. We finished the session with new found skills, confidence, knowledge and ready to tackle some trails. We highly recommend Andrew as a MTB coach.

Andrew was a great teacher and guide - he showed our 14yo son everything he wanted to learn and taught new, useful skills for his riding. He showed Sean around Mystic Mountain on trails that challenged him and applied newly developed skills - it was a great practice and so much fun. I would highly recommend Andrew to anyone looking for a bit of guidance to improve their riding!

We had a group lesson with Andrew. I cannot recommend the lesson more highly. I should have done this years ago when I started riding. Not only am I enjoying riding more as a result but Andrew teaches you to recognise good technique so you can keep practicing and learning after the lesson on your own. Cannot recommend more highly. Wow, not only did I learn heaps more than nervously anticipated but left the session with a wide smile after a fun yet informative private lesson. Having never ridden a bike in my younger years, I was obviously nervous about the class which basically just proved to be wasted energy as I gained the much needed confidence and self believe that 'I can do this'. Andrew was a truly professional friendly instructor from whom I learnt so many valuable new skills and would honestly recommend booking him for a lesson.

I had a private lesson with Bright MTB and I will definitely have a follow up lesson next time I'm in Bright.We spent the first part of the lesson learning techniques and aspects of MTB riding that were very helpful and the second part implementing the techniques and sessioning the fantastic Mystic MTB park. Andrew is easy to communicate with and enjoyable to spend three hours riding with.I rode the next day on the trail, and I could already tell my riding had significantly improved.

My husband, 8 year old son and I had a great class with Andrew. As beginner mountain bikers he went through the basics such as braking, riding stance and turns and we gained so much confidence and are now enjoying riding even more. Andrew was a really great teacher. Thank you Andrew!

Highly recommend Bright MTB. Andrew was a fantastic instructor for our two boys 12 and 10 and gave myself and our 5 year old lots of help along the way too. He covered checking bikes over at the start to make sure your bike is safe each time you set off. Then the initial instruction on correct position and technique was invaluable before hitting the trails. The minute we finished the lesson the boys were asking to go for another session. They had so much fun they went out on Mystic with Andrew the next day without my old legs cramping their style. They gained so much confidence and technique on their bikes and had an amazing time. Would definitely book again and highly recommend to others.
