Party Affair
Was recently a first time customer & had a very positive experience with Party Affair. Found some adorable party things here that were hard to source anywhere else. Georgina was so patient, helpful and kind when I worked out my order online (and was very quick to answer any question I had). Then our party goodies were hand-delivered perfectly in plenty of time by Linton! Both obviously such sweet people. Was great to shop local.

OVERPRICED AND RUDE!!!Go anywhere else but here for balloons or any party things, the owner was extremely rude, not a “hello” or “hi” upon entering but a disdainful look at me and acted like he was doing me a favor by answering any questions I asked. Despite this, I made the purchase because of time lacking. When the transaction was ended, no “thank you” or “have a nice day” so I said it to him and with not a hint of a smile, he just replies “you too”.

RUDE! If I could have got what I needed somewhere else then I would have. I didn’t receive a hello or anything when I arrived. I had even called up during the day to check stock levels and he was rude then. The shop is over priced as well. When I got to the counter he didn’t welcome me or even attempt to be nice. For a small business you would think that customer relations would be an important part of the job. Sadly a rude man runs the shop and I won’t return and will actively encourage others not to too!

Trying to order ballons for pick same day was an absolute nightmare... so glad I found Party Affair, owners were considerably helpful and provided our order on time. Balloons were an absolutely hit, the highlight of the party.Thank you very much for the quick turn around of our last minute order!

We have used the WONDERFUL store for some years now and this alone had three occasions in a very short period of time where we needed supplies and staples like balloons, etc. This store is a real old school" service and the folks that run it are FANTASTIC and helpful and prices are great and there's free delivery with a minimum order and everything reminds me of the way it used to be before superstores and giant malls. You won't find nicer people and why would you go anywhere else if you're anywhere near the area or worth the drive if you're not!"

The website is easy to navigate & alll info & prices cleaar with no fine print offenders.Complimentary Covid delivery options during lockdown & still being offered despite restrictions lifting is testament to them recognising that whether we're in lockdown, generally time poor & now pre-Xmas, this offering is essential & appreciated. This has also not impacted or affected their prices, remaining consistent, nor compromised their customer service, with queries responded to within the hour.Highly recommend Party Affair!

Unfortunately I have to agree with the other reviews - the person who runs this store is not suited to any level of customer service industry, let alone a party store. I will be spending my money elsewhere in future.
