Darwin Crash Repairs
Picked up my car only to find that the windscreen was still smashed, however they did take it back and fix it but then I found that when they had replaced the ignition and door locks they threw away the old keys but forgot to replace the fuel caps and spare tire locks, so now I'm half way home waiting for the AANT to get my fuel cap open. However as soon as I could get them on the phone they sent a locksmith to fix the locks so full marks for responsiveness. But maybe they need a little more work on quality assurance.

I had a smashed headlight and front bumper. They provided a fast quote, booked me in quickly and provide d a cheap courtesy car. They did a great job (I supplied my own parts). Very reasonable price. Excellent service.

Good panel repairs but destroyed my transmission and also destroyed a engine mount. The transmission was destroyed by fitting the transmission lines backwards when they fitted radiator. Insurance company came up with another reason as to protect there repairer which was a lie.

Finniss Street is now largely residential with Darwin Crash Repairs the only industry left in the street and their attitude to their neighbours leaves a lot to be desired. They fill the street with their company vehicles, loan vehicles and staff vehicles and then empty their workshop out in the mornings with their client vehicles taking up the rest of the street so there is no parking for those who live in the street. There are plenty of parks available in the street next door and one would think the company would work with their neighbours so that there is fair access to parking for everyone in the street but this is not the case. They need to lift their game.Oh, and by the way if you really value your car beware, these guys flog their customers cars up and down the street and I know I would not be happy if they treated my vehicle like that. I am sure there are plenty of other panel beaters around who do a better job and looking at the reviews, while there are a few positive posts there are plenty of disatisfied customers.

I initially chose to use Darwin Crash Repair as they were the approved repairers for CGU. Unfortunately, the arrival of the parts took a month, which was not the fault of Darwin Crash Repair. The assessment of the car was conducted by a gentleman, but the quality of their work was below average.Several issues were identified with the repair job. Firstly, there were patches on the door that had been missed during the painting process. Additionally, my car's tint was damaged, and the windows did not slide up and down properly. I also noticed a dried drip of paint on the corner and some overpaint on the car due to inadequate covering.Upon notifying Darwin Crash Repair of these problems, they made efforts to rectify the situation by fixing the window and agreeing to replace the tint. However, the dispute regarding the paintwork remains unresolved. Consequently, I have approached my insurance company once again in an attempt to have the issue addressed.Their explanation for the subpar work included claims of staff shortages and other reasons. In response, I expressed my disappointment, highlighting that I had already waited a month for the parts and could have easily waited another month for them to repair the car. I emphasized that, despite potential inconveniences such as needing a rental vehicle, my primary expectation was for the job to be done properly.

Giving these guys a 4/5 star rating, my 2021 Toyota Camry had some minor paint damage and scratch marks done to the driver side door and lower side skirt from a stop sign that fell onto my car from a foot path construction in my residential street. When I took my car into Darwin Crash Repairs on the day for assessment they manage to polish out most of the paint marks from left by the red stop sign. My car was booked in with Darwin Crash Repairs at the start of May (just collected my car from them 2 weeks ago) to re-spray my driver side door, lower side skirt and front right fender (the right fender was re-done to blend the paint from the driver side door) they did an amazing job and I can barely tell the door was re-sprayed that's how good the quality of workmanship it was, they blended the paint very well and my car was like brand new again. They use paint that is better than factory paint. If you need paint work done to your car I would highly recommended this panel beater. They are very busy booked out with cars, so you just need to wait until your car gets booked in but its worth the wait. Some minor over spray on my wheels but I managed to clean that up with car wash.

I was very impressed at the excellent service I received at Darwin Crash repairs. I needed my vehicle urgently for an important job and then COVID lockdown hit. As soon as the lockdown ended Darwin Crash Repairs allocated extra resources to repair my vehicle so that I could still use it by the required date for my important job. They also went the extra mile with hire car availability so that I could still commute while it was getting repairs. An excellent customer service and a breath of fresh air. Thank you team - Caleb

Terrible customer service and took forever to actually fix the car, also didn’t repair the damage properly so had to take it elsewhere. Do not use this company if you value your vehicle and your time.

Horrible customer service, my car was booked in for assessment 5 months ago. It has taken them almost half a year to get the car in for repairs because they priorities private customer and not insurance related jobs.definitely not recommend. Stay away from them.

I’ve had a few cars repaired there (satisfactorily)and the last time turned me off them completely. My basic white car came back with brush touch ups, dirt in paint, under spray, over spray and ill fitting panels. I gave them a chance to fix it up and they still couldn’t get it right.Totally hopeless with no pride in their work. Without a car for 12 weeks all up.
