Iced coffee was fine but eggs Benedict was inedible. Reeked and tasted only of vinegar, hard poached eggs. Ciabatta wasn't toasted (and stale) despite saying it would be on the menu. Customer service was nice enough but the problem lies with the lack of skills in the kitchen. Had a bite and left the rest as it was gag worthy. You can see why this particular miss Mauds rates so poorly.

I have been taking mum to this restaurant for years; she is an elderly pensioner and I am her eldest son who gets her out of her home most Wednesdays. Food there is usually good; both of us love their Cajun Chicken. But lunch today, 10/05/23, was a disappointment; because today was wet and cold we ordered hot dishes. Mum ordered the meat lasagna and I had the steak and mushroom pie, mine was cool but mum's was stone cold; these were meant to be hot dishes. And they looked like they were reheats from the microwave.

For the first time I was tempted to have my lunch reimbursed. My girlfriend talked me out of it. It was missing ingredients, missing sauces, and inedible. There was an avocado peel under the sandwich. The place was really dirty and disorganized. Spend less on uniforms and more on employee training. Embarrassing. worst place I've ever seen since I've been in australia.

Had the big breakfast. Hash browns were the only hot thing on the plate. Waited 20 minutes after our drinks to get food. Wasn't busy at all either. Food was not even luke warm but wasn't prepared to wait another 20 minutes for a new serve. Disappointing as usually nice although food tasted nice just cold.

I never write negative reviews however the food standards I received today were absolutely atrocious. Two stars as the ice coffee was fine! People complaining about takeaway pricing and dining in need to get a life!I purchased the club sandwich with a side of chips. The club sandwich was the most pathetically expensive and underwhelming item I have ever purchased in my life. No exaggeration, the TRUTH!Imagine this, Three slices of white bread. The smallest, very pink - undercooked schnitzel/patty was on that layer with no sauce just dry and on its own. Another layer of bread a squirt of mayo, a few shreds of salad and the top of the sandwich which is the only toasted part. I don’t know how you can stuff up chips but they were awful. Change your oil. The wait staff were absolutely lovely. She instantly took away the sandwich when she could see it was undercooked and had it remade.A photo says a thousand words!! Insert here..I didn’t think this could ever be possible when someone is rectifying a mistake. It came back worse. The patty was grey on the outside. Completely rock hard. I have never experienced such horrible food, well ever! Zero pride in what is being served. What a disappointment to an establishment I have been going to since I was a little girl.Such a shame. Mrs Maud was so lovely!

Took half an hour to get my coffee order in as everytime I was first in line the server would attend a different customer. No structure and leaves the customers furious. This happened twice so I walked away, came back later to order and the same thing happened again. 0 stars from me. 2 separate servers ignored me. Not happy would not recommend

Bingo!Good to see our favourite weekday lunch spot having turned it around to once again impress with their meals and service.Clean tables, great friendly staff and best of all the kitchen is back to correct, speedy and delicious food.We'll be back!Thanks

Ordered a big breakfast, no eggs. Order received - mushrooms were cold. Sent it back, returned with mushrooms heated up, hash browns cold and not heated through. Returned again. Re-cooking the hash browns but leaving the rest of the meal under the warming lamps while they do so rather than redoing the whole meal. Have sent it back again to redo the wholly meal. *** they couldn’t get the redone meal right either … left out bacon. Obtained a refund. Highly suggest checking out other venues for breakfast.
