Could not recommend this accomodation enough. Perfectly located right in the middle of the Hunter Valley. A lot of wineries a very short drive away. Short drive to places like The Hunter Valley Gardens, Roche Estate, Bimbadgen Winery, all the main places that events are held.Plenty around to do but staying in is also a great option. All the cabins a self contained and you feel like you are the only ones around. The cabins a beautiful and include a fireplace, so on a cold winters night it was perfect. BBQ and kitchenette means you can spend a day out in the wineries and come home and cook your own dinner. No need to go anywhere else.Staff were very friendly and helped mean arrange a wine and cheese surprise for my wife. Can not recommend this place enough!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Unlax. The owners Steve and Nat were extremely hospitable and would highly recommend as a place to stay if visiting the Hunter Valley.

Had a wonderful time at Unlax! My partner and I loved it so much we extended our stay. The cabins were beautiful and private. We saw kangaroos and wallabies each day and were constantly listening to the different birds in the area. We were lucky enough to be there when the other cabins weren’t occupied however they are set up to be very private either way. Nat was lovely and even surprised us with home made muffins one afternoon. We will definitely visit again and are planning to spend our anniversary there. If I could give this place a higher rating I would.

Cosy rustic cabins set amongst beautiful bushland abundant in bird life and kangaroos. Private yet so close to Hunter Valley Gardens and all the wineries the region has to offer. Cabins were well contained with a delicious breakfast hamper provided. Log fire was fantastic and warmed up the entire cabin incl both bedrooms very quickly. Beds were super comfy and kitchen well equipped. Fantastic family getaway and will def stay here again soon.

Very relaxing and peaceful property. Clean and spacious cabins with fireplace. The most generous and accommodating hosts. My go to place in hunter from now on.

Spent a couple of night here in Cabin 1. Steve was great and very friendly. Very accommodating and even provided us with a surprise bottle of sparkling and chocolate strawberries. My wife and I had an amazing time. Place was very peaceful and beautiful. There were kangaroos grazing around our cabin in the morning which seems to be a normal occurrence. The cabin itself was clean, well maintained and the kitchen was very well equipped. Location was great as well as it's about a 10 minute drive from most things and is directly next door to Alice On the Edge restaurant. Will definitely return a d wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family.
