Love the roof top, the staff were very helpful to sort out the problem when our seats were taken by other guests. The steak was nice and the kids menu as well. Little bit disappointed with the Beef Thai Salad where I think it's just a bunch of veggies finished off with sesame dressing.

Had the worst experience at this place. Booked for tea to celebrate a milestone birthday, they put us on the rooftop which was extremely noisy and loud. Couldn’t hear anyone speak. We were meant to be in the bistro. When we went to speak to the Manager, she was very unhelpful, rude and pretty much told us, even if I was “God, I can’t fit you in tonight” . Then she went on to say are you here just for drinks or do you want to eat? We made this booking over 6 weeks ago, if they were supposed to be booked out, why take on more bookings. We had to move our party of 15 elsewhere. Will never visit this place again. Extremely disappointed

Surprisingly enough this was my first time here for a meal.Came for lunch and was very impressed.Service was exceptional, the staff were all smiling and more than egar to help.Menu was great with a good variety of food and more importantly a great selection of gluten free food.The temperature outside was 41 degrees the day we were here, however inside was nice and cool and you would never have known how hot it was outside.I had the calamari salad and my work colleague had the fish and chips.He gave his a 8/10 and said it just lost marks because the fish was a bit oily and could have been drained longer. But he said it was still delicious.I'd give my dish a 7.5 / 10 solely because I was expecting the calamari to be pan fried and instead it was dusted in some sort of mixture. But it was still very nice and the serving size was perfect.I would, sorry I should say, I will definitely be going back to the Belmont Hotel again in the future.

Great staff, fantastic service. VERY over cooked “rare” lamb rump, almost inedible. Pistachio crust… where?First time back since the manager denied food poisoning was from the venue when friend who dined on a different table came down with exact symptoms, exact same time, and we hadn’t even spoken.Luckily they’re good at hiring people who are mostly good at their jobs. Could be a great venue.

Great place to catch up with friends or to take the family to dinner.Very nice meals, live entertainment in the bar.
