Charlie was fixing a problem with my car that eventually required a full engine rebuild. Charlie had the engine sent off to be rebuilt. It came back and was installed into my car - I picked it up and the engine ceased within 5km. This was the beginning of the end in my dealings with Charlie and Simply Subaroo. Many months and many more thousands of dollars later SS reluctantly released my car with ceased engine for me to pay someone else to rebuild the engine. SS took no accountability for the problems and are still argumentative about what transpired.

Charlie carried out a log book service. As always communication was efficient and any issues were discussed. The service was done in a timely fashion by someone that has Subaru expertise.

Charlie is an very experienced professional Subaru mechanic & his expertise with all Subaru engines & their particular idiosyncrasies is to be admired.This saves you $ when there is an issue mechanically or electronically & it’s throwing codes at you.He fully rebuilt my 07 Lib BSpec H6 when it’s HG expired. He was completely honest about procedures - costs for everything & with the best way to move forward depending on what I wanted from car.Very professional & highly recommended for Subaru owners.

Really happy with my water pump and timing belt replacement.Gave me a clear quote with a list of other things that needed doing with prices of all the things listed.After having some recent dealings with shifty mechanics it was really refreshing to deal with simply subaroo.Will be taking my hi lux and Forrester here from now on.Cheers

Excellent, thorough and professional. These guys are great and carried out our log book service, repaired a fuel link and fixed all sorts of other things we hadn't noticed. They even took note that our pink slip was due soon, so did that aswell. Highly recoomend them.

Was really struggling to find a used car with no hidden costs. Went to Charlie for advice on buying a used Subaru as I'm not technical at all. He really made an effort looking out for cars for me and even had a car checked out for me at his workshop.
