Vet Skin and Ear

I cannot give this lovely Vet Daniel Mitchel enough stars …. He is thorough, compassionate, caring, but most important to me he is approachable. Dan while treating my boy Kash for lip fold surgery, on his follow up visit he took an interest in my old girl 14.5yo cancer diagnosis, he made a call while I was there and he managed to get me a telecall which led to a physical appointment for my beautiful curly coat retrievers prognosis of cancer she was given only weeks to live….. I was beside myself trying to get in anywhere to get some help for her….. now today she is my amazing “Tridog” with no sign of cancer ! Daniel I really cannot thank you enough!

Dr Daniel Mitchell, has been wonderful diagnosing discoid lupus on my Jager Australian Shepherd when no other vet could figure out what it was ! On medication which fixed the issue within weeks and is such a great ongoing support with health care of him!

5/5 stars.We sought professional help from Dr Daniel Mitchell at Vet skin and ear after our black Labrador Wilson was experiencing acute and chronic ear infections.After receiving countless antibiotic treatments, steroid treatments and various fungal treatments with no resolve we were referred to Dr Daniel for a consult to see if he could assist us with the countless infections that Wilson was experiencing.The process with Daniel was smooth, informative and successful!Wilson went through allergy testing which showed that he was allergic to multiple grasses, feathers, cockroaches and dandelions.The next step in our treatment journey was for Wilson to have his rush immunotherapy with Daniel. We had full confidence that Wilson would be in the best hands and he was- we were kept informed throughout the whole process and day. Wilson had a successful rush therapy and continued on three weekly immunotherapy injections at home which Daniel flawlessly assisted us with to ensure we were confident to continue treatments at home.Wilson has had such a great outcome that since our journey began with Daniel Wilson has not had a single ear infection since and has been a picture of health.Without Daniels input we would not be in a place we are today with Wilson.Wilson will continue on his immunotherapy treatments with a detailed treatment plan for the future which has been developed by Daniel.We could not recommend Dr. Daniel Mitchell at Vet skin and ear higher- he is friendly, approachable, personable and compassionate.

Daniel helped us out and fixed the problem when none of the regular vets could. My puppy only needed one visit! Bobo's food allergy is now easily managed. I highly recommend Daniel and his team.

If there were more stars I could give Daniel, I would.He really cares. He's not in a rush in any consult. He'll get down on hands and knees and spend as much time as is necessary to assess your dog.My dog Kuma has had life long skin issues that none of the other vets I saw could do anything about other than looking her over for a couple of minutes at most and giving her toxic medication. Daniel spent well over an hour with my dog Kuma, came up with a plan and had her skin back to normal within a couple of weeks. Now all I need to do is follow the maintenance plan Daniel has given us for Kuma.Daniel is the utmost professional and I couldn't recommend him enough!

We took our pappillion Max to see Dan with hair loss around his neck and legs Dan diagnosed the issue prescribed medication and his hair has gradually regrown. Can not recommend this practice enough very professional really happy with the outcome.

I cannot recommend Dr Daniel enough. Our poor Henry had severe allergies that would come on every summer for the last 7 years that would leave him utterly miserable and us very stressed about what to do for him. Henrys allergies got so bad that he even had an anaphylactic reaction, which was very frightening. It was so hard to watch our poor little Henry suffer every year. I had tried so many things to help him to no avail. Thankfully someone recommended that we see Dr Daniel and we are so glad that we did.Henry started treatment in July and normally by December every year Henry would start to flare, but Henry has not had a single itch at all. This has been his best year ever. If your pet suffers from allergies, we highly recommend seeing Dr Daniel!!

Dr Dan is amazing. After our dog, Coco, started developing reddening around the mouth and eventually her front paws we spent many months back and forth at our vet trying different approaches and medication. The best we could do is reduce the symptoms of whatever allergy she had. They eventually referred us to Dr Dan.Dr Dan did a full assessment of Coco, narrowing down and ruling out possible causes. He has a deep understanding of the processes and causes the trigger skin allergies.Eventually we worked through to the actual cause and trigger of her allergies and Dr Dan put together a suitable vaccine for us to use to treat Coco.After 6 months she went from severe reddening around her mouth and front paws, and a lot of fur loss across her chest and front paws she is now back to her healthy self.Night and day has been the change, and I have subsequently had multiple people comment on the condition of Coco's coat and are surprised to hear about how bad it had been not that long ago.I highly recommend Dr Dan if your pet is have any skin/allergy issues. He will find the cause and provide a solution.

I had the pleasure of meeting dan today to discuss my issues with my English labrador Clancy, I can’t comprehend how professional and how much effort and time Dan had spent with me in our one hour vet session while giving me all the best advice,I will be using Dan from now on as my main care for Clancy, I highly recommend that you use Dan and his team here for your pats, They are on another level !

I cannot recommend Dr.Dan from Vet Skin and Ear enough!My beagle suffered from excessive itching and irritability since he was a puppy, which interfered with his training and prevented him from settling at home, leading to unwanted behavior.At every step of the way Dan explained the reasonings why, and how to address every issue that came up, and laid out a clear plan to identify exactly what was causing the allergies. We have now nearly completely irradicated the issue, and have the knowledge and skills to address any flare ups!
