Our cat started limping for no reason but our usual vet was fully booked, I have never had a bad experience at the vet so I trusted this clinic based on the reviews. Sadly, we had a terrible experience. First, we had to wait 20 minutes before seeing the vet. We were asked to wait outside because of Covid which I totally understand but the next customer, for some reason, was dispensed from waiting outside. I was covered with mosquito bites as a result but was more shocked by the cold reception from the receptionist. As we were allowed in, my cat became really distressed and there was no effort made to help my cat get accustomed to the clinic, the vet seemed extremely gentle but did not once try to help my cat feel more relaxed. As a result of her distress, my cat could not be examined and the vet gave me the option of sedation for examination. I accepted as I trusted the vet and was told that I would get a call after a couple of hours. I only received a call 4 hours later to be told that my cat had scratched the vet and the nurse but that everyone was ok and that my cat had an inflamed paw. I felt embarrassed but relieved that it was nothing too serious and no surgery was required. I apologised of course for the scratching. My husband picked her up but we were shocked by the fees. There were these additional costs that had not at all been mentioned. I ended up paying $553 for the visit and I didn't even get a diagnosis. We asked the possible causes of an inflammation on the paw and weren't given any. So we had to use google to find reasons for paw inflammation. I should have trusted my cat’s reaction and should have left when she reacted the way she did. The way she reacted was out of character. It was also my mistake to not discuss the costs involved with sedation. When I questioned the bill, I was told that they clipped her nails for no additional costs and that all the additional costs (theatre fees, hospital cage, gaseous anaesthetic via a mask, oxygen, subcutaneous fluids, hospital cage) were linked with providing a 'professional' service. After 3 days my cat is still limping and looks to be in pain. I have managed to secure an appointment at my usual vet and will certainly not return to this vet. The fees are much higher than any vets I have ever been.

I've had a pretty up-and-down experience with vets since starting my journey as a dog-mum a few years ago, and I can honestly say that after my appointment yesterday, I have never had a better experience with a vet.Dr Green is amazing and so kind and warm. She is very attentive and seems to genuinely listen to your concerns. The actual reception is smaller than other vets I've been to but I really didn't mind - this clinic is operating out of a house and the space has been used effectively.I will definitely be back.

I got my little guy in to see the vet at short notice. We had never been there before and was super close to home. Both were lovely ladies specially Bear bears Vet, Nonna! She was quick, thorough and efficient. Even had blood test done on bear and the results were back within 15 mins. The little guy must of been comfortable with her, as he doesn't like strangers and he left happy and calm. Thanks again Ladies! You are awesome!

We have been going to see Nona and the team for five years now. As we adopt older dogs (8 years plus) we tend to visit more than my wife's parents visit their vet. Nona and the vet nurses are amazing. They are always caring and empathetic. Nona is happy to answer any question and spends as much time as is needed to treat your pet.Of the three dogs we have had, two have had serious medical conditions. We could not have asked for better care. When we had to put one of our dogs down recently we could not have asked for a more caring and respectful environment or staff.Overall I cannot recommend the Kent St Vet highly enough.

Very friendly, caring staff. Willing to assist in any way they can. The breeder of my kitties chose them and I am so happy that he did. I feel good about leaving them for boarding as they are well cared for.

So caring. Dr Nonna is amazing. Professional at every turn. You and your pet never feel rushed but you feel like your pet is very special, which, of course, they are.
