I've been in here a few times. They're a great shop, their range of cameras and equipment is better than most city stores, despite having a smaller shop floor. They have more of what's good. They also do a really good film service with a very fast turnaround - not many shops will still do same-day prints, let along 1 hour or so! Good price for develop & print also.When I took in a test roll from a new-old camera, they warned me that I had a light leak before printing the roll. I knew there was probably one there, expected it really, but it was very good they warned me.So, top-notch local shop that deserves your support!

horrible experience getting film developed with these guys, who I'm guessing was the owner was quite rude to me today, calling me unreasonable and that I can't come back for refusing to pay for an already developed roll which I accidentally gave them however apparently scanning and putting it on a disk warranted a fee, when the disk can be erased and reused, just after a money grab, on their part terrible handling of the situation. I want to support local business, but when you tell customers to piss off that's just poor.

I have been going to Katoomba Camera House for years and have always found them very helpful and encouraging. Their courses are excellent too. I now live on the Mid North Coast but have returned to Katoomba for printing of photos for an exhibition. Thank you

Ordered some pictures via their online website.. paid an extra $5 for shipping to my house.. A whole week later the pictures hadn’t arrived.. I called up the shop and was told that the pictures were still in the shop..The pictures were excellent quality but if I hadn’t called up, I wouldn’t have gotten the pictures in time for my project..

Poor service. I wanted a small item, but waited 10 minutes. The only staff member that acknowledged me, continued working on framing some images that would take a fair bit of time. I could have been served quickly and out of Thier shop in no time. So left the item behind.

I always have wonderful service I'm this store. But today I did just 7 prints in black an white and 3 documents black and white scan and they charge me $17 DOLARES. I never saw nothing similar for a simple copy and scan. After I asked to reduced the price the girls did for $7.
