You could not enjoy a delicious meal and a an ice cold beverage at a more spectacular place with a view. The hotel motel is just such a great place all round. The staff there are very warm and welcoming, polite and very happy to answer any questions you may have about the surrounding area. Great food and very decent price and a great menu to cater for all ages. Great indoor and easy visible kids entertainment area with lots to keep them busy. Outdoor eating and drinking areas where you can sit and enjoy the spectacular view from different aspects and the garden area and all of the the surroundings of the building are kept immaculate.

Always a good stop for a beer. If you want to eat - make sure you book! Gets super busy. Amazing views of the gold coast if it's a clear day.

What an experience!A friend and I went to Tambourine Mountain for the day and stopped in to the pub. I was blown away by the impeccable service and how nice everyone was. Not to mention the food was to die for! As a pescatarian, I finally had an array of options at a pub, which is super rare for me. I opted for scallops for the entree and the mornay lobster for the main. Both dishes were delicious!! All made better with an incredible view over the Good Coast. I would recommend this pub to everyone!

This place would benefit with different management. I had booked here to have an impromptu gathering over lunch after my son's elopement wedding at nearby botanic gardens, and at the time of booking I mentioned the nature of our gathering and that there was no expectation of the venue to provide anything extra or any formal setting. I also called again the morning of the wedding to ask if we could drop the cake off a few hours early to which I was told yes, that was fine. The woman manager calls me half an hour before the wedding ceremony to have a moan about my booking and that I hadn't notified the venue that my booking was a 'wedding reception'.I advised (again) that I had given information pertaining to my booking and had stated the nature of the gathering, specifically that it was a casual buy your own lunch for anyone that wanted to join, rather than everyone just going home straight after ..... far from any wedding reception. She kept going on about my booking and that I had not said it was a booking for a wedding reception, she knew nothing about it and then proceeds to say she recognised the staff's handwriting in the diary so was going to deal with the staff member. As a potential guest, I really don't want to know about your communication/management inadequacies, let alone how you are going to deal with your staff because you've made inaccurate assumptions. The whole conversation from her was an extremely poor example of customer service (the worst I've ever experienced, ever), and was full of attitude, lack of empathy, and just downright rude. Oh, and did I mention she actually called up the bride also as she was on the way to her wedding, with exactly the same conversation? Very lame.I have no intention of returning to this place with family, friends or work colleagues, which is a shame given there is a nice outlook, and the bar staff were polite and friendly. I only hope their boss woman doesn't treat them with the same contempt and disrespect as they did me.There are other places that provide a much better customer experience than this one.

Cold beer, good service, friendly manager stopped for a chat with us. It's a little higher priced than normal, but was preparing for exorbitant prices considering its a major tourist stop over spot. I will be sure to order a meal next time. A very outdated pub for such a great location. Would be a great spot with a renovation, more shade outside some lounges etc... but I guess if its all profitable, what the need for an overhaul?

Went here today for lunch and it was fantastic. Well priced even with the surcharge and staff were amazing. The girl who took our order was great and the people who served our drinks. Thank you

Would not recommend even if you were starving. The rudest management team ever. Our 3 grandchildren had tickets for their after dinner ice creams. They were asked what flavour and if they wanted 2 and in seperate bowls to have a male supervisor apparently new come by and berate the staff member a young girl that “THEY only paid for 1 scoop” he then took the second scoop off each of the kids who had to decide which one to give back because the staff member thought a serve was 2 scoops.I have been to pubs before where you could end up with anything up to 3 scoops with the kids meal.If this was not bad enough on leaving i wanted to express my disappointment only to be told i should have taken my concern up with the aggressive supervisor if i was unhappy and when i said it is not my place to tell their staff how to act i was accused of making her feel uncomfortable and was attacking her the manager. Ridiculous i had my grand children in tow and that is not my style.Ps the food was not great and was very $$ for low level pub food more canteen food at the footy
