The mechanic was over an hour late, I was charged $270 to have the problem diagnosed for me, although nothing was done to fix this problem and the mechanic did not even offer to order the required part for me and install it. I feel like I’ve been ripped off. The mechanic told me I needed a new bulb holder. I later took my car to Quicktech in Oak Flats for a second opinion. They told me that this was not the case, a new bulb holder was not needed, and they diagnosed the correct issue for me in less an hour, fixing it for me very promptly.In response to the owners comment, there was a lot that could have been done. Correctly diagnosing the issue would've been a good start. There was no offer to order the part for me, the mechanic seemed to be in a hurry to leave and simply told me that any mechanic would be able to order this part (this was also not true). They quoted me $500 for the repair and for a part I didn't even end up needing. QuickTech in Oak Flats fixed the electrical issue for me for under $200 without needing any new parts installed. My car has been running fine ever since. Please reconsider Blue Toro and get another opinion first, it could save you some money in the long run.
