WK Quantum Quartz
As part of our new build we had 2 types of quantum quartz installed. The first weekend we moved in we noticed dull circular marks on the island and assumed our water bottles left these, given we had just moved, all we had was water bottles as we unpacked our moving boxes. We also had problems with colour matching glue on a join and several small blue marks that looked like ink stains on the white counter top and called the stonemason to mention these issues. The stone mason has since tried to colour match and called QQ WK for advise. They no longer provide glue to colour match joins in their own stone according to the stone mason which seems odd but was his feedback. QQWK Rep came at request of Stone mason. The rep stated he has never seen the blue marks before but that it is definitely in the stone and not a stain. Regarding the Matt looking circular stains he could not say how they were caused and used a QQ spray cleaner he brought in with him to clean them. It did nothing so he said he would post their own abrasive cleaner and to use a damp microfibre cloth to clean. I did this and it made the marks worse. The Marble man came to assess and while here said a nano clean would not work as the Matt marks that took the shine off were made during transport and not to do with the stone. The blue marks were in the stone and could be removed/repaired but may leave a trace of repair and did not know what the other strange marks were. He also stated he had not seen them before. His report however to QQ stated all Matt marks were caused by incorrect cleaning and blue marks were inclusions. I called QQ who have basically stated blue is used to make white whiter and it is a natural mark that is too minor to be considered a defect that it is a normal part of this stone (looks like several ink pen stains in a few areas but nowhere else - if it were a bit consistent it would not look like a defect and this stone is in 4 bathrooms and laundry and the kitchen but only kitchen has it) and that the Matt marks were not caused by their cleaning agent but by incorrect use of their cleaning agent. How on earth can anyone prove they used the product correctly, it is in my opinion, the perfect cop out! I would not recommend this product purely because they do not stand by their own product. Do not have matches for gluing joins anymore and do not seem to care about anything other than selling it given they seem to use every out they can to not take responsibility for their own issues. They appear to use the marble man nationwide to report exclusively for any warranty issues which possibly explains why what was said on site to me and what actually went into the report are very different. I accept that Matt marks were made during transport, I do not accept that the blue marks are a natural part of the stone (its manufactued stone!) given I have so much of this stone and it's only 1 counter, to me the blue they use was not mixed/blended with the white properly on this particular slab hence what I consider a defect to be visible on only one of the 5 counter tops, an overall blue hue through the whiteness maybe but not small blue line streaks. I think it is ridiculous they do not provide colour matched adhesive for their own product range, why would a company stop providing this? Obviously, I would not recommend this company nor their products.

Had a really pleasant experience with one of the staff members today. I didn't catch her name but she was very kind.

Because of the arrogance and nasty unhelpful attitude of your “sales lady” I will never step foot in your store ever again.

Excellent service. We came here to look at kitchen stone bench tops for indoor and outdoor kitchens. We were greeted by friendly sales person. Taken out to the warehouse and shown the full size slabs of stone to compare the difference between he shades and colours. Got some great advise about choosing the correct tops for the outdoor areas as the wear and fade different to indoors.

BUYER BEWARE! Don't have anything to do with this company! Seems they have defects in their benchtops and don't address them through warranty or otherwise. One month after installation of Palazzo Angelico I noted there was a white 'splotch' on it as if the surface had been scratched off. Also very porous to things like parsley or coloured liquids of any kind. When I emailed I was told that this wasn't real stone and was a print of the pattern on the stone. I knew this of course, but this benchtop wasn't fit for purpose if I couldn't use it for cooking if it meant white splotches appeared if you dropped a spoon and it 'soaked' up colours from dropped food. When I asked about the warranty I was finally sent a card showing was was included/excluded (no you don't get that unless you ask but I did apply for the warranty on their website (blindly) at time of installation ). This issue I was having was not mentioned on the card. After a month of chasing for a response, I was given a man's mobile phone to discuss. We discussed it and the fact I am afraid to use my stone benchtop in case I drop something and it creates more white 'splotches'. He asked me to send a photo which I did. That was two months ago. No response. I emailed and texted again. No response. I wouldn't touch these guys again. Very bad decision and I should've looked at the reviews which show their customer service is dire, and their benchtops are defective.

Ordered Quantum Quartz Classico Palazzo for a kitchen for a customer in May 2022.Defects in the stone were reported to WK Stone shortly after installation.Technical rep who finally attended the site was not helpful. Quite rude and dismissive of the customers' concerns.Approaches made to the Carrara office were ignored.Stone had colour inconsistency, stained very easily, and was porous.Eventually WK arranged for a stone finishing contractor to seal the stone. This is whilst still maintaining that there was no problem with the stone.WK have refused to provide a warranty on the stone, and disregarded numerous requests from the customers to contact them to get the matter resolved.I would not recommend this company.
