I have always felt comfortable in my local post office. Everyone is helpful, friendly and professional. However, one particular person Marry Anne was very practical, efficient and mixed with her naturally friendly approach make every visit sweet. There is a feeling of a village even tough we are few steps from the Sydney city center.

Usually my experience with the team at Paddington post office is incredibly positive - I have a 10 month old baby and on maternity leave my trips to the post office were often our main ‘outing’ and I always left with a smile. Unfortunately the woman serving me recently (on 4th & 5th March) was unnecessarily rude and an outright unpleasant person. Talking down to someone, in a customer service role, isn’t unheard of - but when you’re dragging a baby around trying to complete an urgent passport application, the additional stress of demeaning customer service isn’t great. We all have bad days, I know I was, but it didn’t stop me trying to make pleasant conversation (which went down like a led balloon).

At Paddington Post Shop I was charged more than $2 just to send a domestic Christmas card. The post office agent grabbed from me the small square envelope containing the card and tried putting it through the post office's special cardboard guide, which is indicates the price to charge depending on whether it fits through the hole or not. Instead of putting it through the small slot on its side as you normally would to post something, he tried putting it through diagonally, so of course it didn't fit through. I didn't raise this at the time given how unfriendly they were and I had other things on my mind, but I felt very ripped off as I walked out.I enquired at a different post office whether it was normal practice to charge customers based on putting the envelope in the guide diagonally and they told me no

Alwyn (8180) is without a doubt the most helpful post deliverer I've ever met. Today I missed my urgent medication delivery I was completely out of and he called and made sure I was able to get it on his way back to the post office past my place. Thank you so much for going above and beyond. Amazing customer service :-)

They didn’t provide any pens where you can write on your parcels so I stood in the line for 10 minutes then to get to the front of the line I saw a pen & started writing on my parcels then once done I was told I need to go to the back of the line quite rudely & then stood in line for another 15 minutes wait.Then a rude man also cut infront of me, yelled at me when I told him to not do that & no one did anything to stop that.Worst experience I’ve had at a post office.

Good, efficient service. Staff are always friendly and helpful, even when the line is out the door.

I've been to 2 post offices this week and both has been outstanding. Great service from Maryanne. Quick and easy and a nice feeling inside the paddo P O. Not as.stocked as others, but certainly the service was excellent and Maryanne was so friendly and helpful.

Very bad customer services. I stay at home all days waiting for delivery. And no one coming. I track agian it says waiting for collection at collecting point. I was so furious cause no one call me. No one knock the door or try to delivery. Atleast you can leave at front door. But Shame that I have to go pickup at the office. And I finished my work at 5 which same time at the AU Post. So I have no time to pick up. It really awful. I was work from home and staying at home. But they not deliver as they supposed to do.

Stood in line for 20 minutes this Saturday morning only to be told they don’t accept forms on Saturday. Poor form. If not providing their usual services why are they open at all? No signage to tell us this before wasting our time in line. How do people who work full time get the forms done?
