Yellowtail Restaurant
The best restaurant and delicious food I have found. We are vegetarian and they don't have many options for vegetarian. CHef made special vegie plater for us, the presentation, food everything is so good. We choose Yellowtail to celebrate our special location, and they fulfil all our needs and make our day best with the delicious food.

Yellowtail Restaurant
The cooking here is innovative, well balanced with superb material. We had dined at hundreds of Michelin starred restaurants around the world and the Yellowtail is on par with many 1-star for food. The ambience, service, and wine list is of course more relaxed and slightly inferior to most 1-star establishment but we were extremely happy to have tried it. We had oysters both natural and roasted. The roasted ones have a most refreshing sauce. The shrimp bisque had spaghetti like shrimp meat in the soup, making it a really great play on texture and taste. The market fish was fixed simply and paired well with very delightful looking potatoes, ocra and thinly sliced vegetable. Creative combination of ingredients for the desserts as well.

Dined here recently and it did not disappoint. Service was warm and friendly and the food was consistent from start to finish. Big standout was the kingfish tartare with mandarin from the chefs menu. Only thing I’m annoyed about is that I haven’t visited sooner!

Amazing food, beautifully presented and such great flavour and texture combinations. We had the 5 course degustation menu and it was amazing.The service was good but dropped off a bit after course 3 which was a shame.The main reason for not giving 5 stars and only 3 on atmosphere is the restaurant venue itself as it's a very small place with nearly 40 people seated inside. Outside seating is simply small tables on the pavement. When spending top $ for a meal the atmosphere and venue need to match too.

Yellowtail Restaurant
4 of us dined and we shared 4 entrées and 4 mains. Each dish was well designed and executed. We enjoyed it very much and we particularly enjoyed the cauliflower, pork belly entree and lamb. Highly recommend visiting. Thanks for an excellent dining experience.

Yellowtail Restaurant
Came for a group of 3 on a Saturday long weekend. The restaurant staggered the seatings and service was efficient. Everything was delicious, especially the oysters and the tempura pumpkin, and seafood cooked perfectly. It's a small restaurant so if you want to go for a nice meal out in Terrigal, book early.
