I've been going to Rob for probably a decade, and he's outlasted two boyfriends, a husband and two cars (I'm onto number three - the first was a dud, the second was up sized for having too many kids)!I know when I go that Rob will do what needs to be done, with attention to detail, honesty and at a fair price. If something doesn't need to be done, he'll tell you. If something can be done with non-genuine parts just as well, he'll recommend it, and if it's a part that performs best with the genuine part, he'll recommend that too. He's always around to explain things if I have questions, and won't undertake any change of work without calling to check what I want to do. I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my car looked after.

Best customer services so far I have had.Receptionist Tracy is very capable and knowledgeable.The price charged is reasonable.Provided loan car services is very convenient at cost of $20.No time to refill the petrol tank and Tracy said that's Ok.The loan car's antenna fell off or broken, they didn't charge me additionally.Overall, very satisfied about the services.Will come back again for future car services. Won't go elsewhere.Like to recommend to my family and friends.

Paid over $2000/= for timing kit replacement and had car returned with the exact same fault without any difference.Took it back and was told to wait for their call while they try to figure out a solution.Called and asked for an update. Call never came.Yes, I did not go back because I did not want to pay anymore for their indifference to my plight Took it to a Mercedes mechanic who sorted out the issue and the car runs like it should instead of sounding like a old diesel truck upon starting. No initiative shown or taken to rectify the problem.By the way the business was highly recommended to me..!!I could be the odd one out but their lack of response or indifferent attitude to right the problem does not justify or make it right.

I was referred by Pro Gas (QLD) to use Rob Automotives to resolve my car's LPG problem: complete dysfunction to switch to Gas mode. I have an Emer LPG System (euro) on my BM and not many LPG specialised mechanics were willing to look at it and often blamed it on the brand. Rob and Jim diagnosed and resolved the problem within a day. I am grateful for their accurate diagnosis.

I have been going to Rob's for over 5 years now with no issues. I initially went there as I was after a local mechanic capable of looking after the LPG system on my dual fuel BA Ford. Rob's are very capable of doing this and I have had them do other non-LPG repairs to my car since.A couple of weeks ago I had an intermittent problem with the LPG switching to petrol when it shouldn't. Rang Rob and he said bring it in on the 9th January and he may be able to look at it even though he had pending jobs and was short staffed. Got the car returned the next day and the problem has been resolved. Nice work Rob on an intermittent fault.
