My toddler has learnt and grown so much here. I love this kindy..they have lovely educators, culturally orientated, a great food menu for the children (healthy and my daughter actually eats, which is a challenge as she is picky) they also offer soccer with Little Kickers (in the time that we were there).

Our daughter has attended the cottage and graduated in 2020 with amazing educators. They were very caring, compassionate, dedicated and knowledgable, under the leadership of service manager & director of Ms Ammie Owens (the most people person director we have ever met). Our son also attended the cottage since June 2020. Sadly the cottage doesn't seem that amazing anymore after the resignation of Ms Ammie (6/11) and assistant director Ms Angi (30/10) (they left at the same time) and few other educators that has looked after our son. Current educators who are looking after our son are amazing too. They are patience, love what they are doing and dedicated. My son first time caught HFMD (our daughter never had that, so do us). I rang and spoken to the manager to confirm that if she has received our email and GP has confirmed our son had it and reinforced to her that it is important to let other parents aware about it. However, after two days only parents were made awared with two confirmed cases. With that phone call, there were no emphathy at all from the manager as i recalled she was just replied 'yes, sure'. Why have to wait untill you have two confirmed cases? I personally don't think that is safe and good enough as other parents should have been made aware as soon as you received our GP confirmation. Perhaps every childcare has their own practice and policies? However since covid, the cottage has been absolutely capable in informing us when our son got fever, chesty cough, had a wound looks like insect bites etc. Almost every fortnight we got a call in Jan to March 2021 so we could bring him home under our care, of course the cottage did this just to protect other children and staff, which i assumed that they would have done the same thing for other children, however how could possibly both parents get back to work without any concerns/worries if you think you would always get a call from the kindy?? As we have no one else can help look after our kids when they are sick except ourselves. For that, I wish the management always being thoughful to their own staff too if their own children got sick and they can't come to work. Our son (less than 1 year old) also being exposed to rain water with purpose (creative play) during rainy and windy day with all his clothes soaked twice this year. No doubt he must have loved it, but how can i not put the blame on you guys that he got sick straight after these 'creative plays'?Both my husband and myself think that our son may continue to attend the cottage because we felt the educators love our son and most of them love being educators, which is very important to us. Just as i would feel at ease knowing that he will be under the care of few capable educators whom have nutured and taught my daughter before (if they are still there by the time he grown up more).Lately, it has been a mess with the issue of the child care fees benefit which my husband has been dealing with it. No inform or whatsoever when changes being made, only found out by my husband after a dramatic rise in the child care fees.I really wish things can go back to how it used to be, or at least the management team can seek improvement seriously.

The staff have been amazing. I see my daughter has been eating some awesome food provided by the centre, she is very picky, so this is awesome. My child loves coming to The Cottage. We love getting the story updates on the day and seeing pictures of what they've been doing. It's awesome!

Such a warm welcoming, lovely environment, my baby absolutely loves it at The Cottage Coomera, it's her home away from home, she adores her teachers and I feel happy knowing she is cared for, happy and enthusiastic to go with an easy Bye Mummy!". Thank you The Cottage Coomera!"

Given we have only been there for 2 weeks, my daughter has loved going to kindy. The educators and staff are lovely and kind. Also the rooms and center are clean. My daughter has been made to feel welcome and included (even though she is miss independent) by her class educators and I couldn’t thank the Center enough for being so accommodating.Prior to the cottage, we viewed several other centres and I was not happy with any of them due to versions reasons, and once we found the cottage, I would not send her elsewhere. ❤️

My experience to date has been amazing! As much as its a shock to the public and families its also a shock to a lot of staff who take duty of care for our children as honourable experience to share time with our loved ones. This by no means is a way of me accepting what has happened and my deepest and most sincere apologies and love goes out to the family affected. Our son loves this centre and i have to admit my son is not the most tamed. Instead of calling me and complaining they tell me that he is going through a phase and he is still such a loving and adorable boy. Kathryn THANK YOU!! Thank you to all the staff for continuing to put my son first and continue to support my family and i through hard times (which i dont wish to comment on online). I appreciate you all and you all deserve to be acknowledged for the love and effort you put into my son and others.

The Cottage has been the perfect centre for our family. After touring several other centres, we got a completely different vibe from The Cottage, the staff and environment was very welcoming, the educators and staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our daughter feel comfortable (15 months and hadn't been in care before) and since attending The Cottage she has lost her separation anxiety and is thriving. The educators in our daughters room (Miss Yazz & Miss Anita) have exceeded our expectations with the way they have created a relationship with our child and the way they give us frequent updates on how she is developing. It is always a nice feeling coming into the centre and being greeted by caring staff. I wouldn't send my daughter (and second child on the way) anywhere else.

Both our girls have attended The Cottage at Coomera (eldest graduated last year) and we have been so pleased with the centre and the management. The educators are wonderful and many of them have become friends. We love being welcomed every morning by Miss Katherines beautiful smile! Trish is amazing and has implemented so many great things at the centre since being Centre manager. Our girls love it and so do we. Highly recommend The Cottage!!!
