At some point during your journey, find a place to stop, take in the beauty & try to imagine what it may have been like to be on a slow moving steam train as it wound its way through the picturesque countryside.

The trail was in good condition and we were lucky to have a great weather day. Hardly any wind on our ride to Welshpool and back to Foster.

One of the stations along the Great Southern Rail Trail in Gippsland - have a little part of the old railway next to the trail just after Foster and a great lunch stop at Gurneys'Cidery close to the town.
