I have been so happy with Silver Mount Equestrian services! Julie takes in consideration not only your wants, needs and skill levels, but the horse’s too! She understands horses and people and that’s what makes her the best instructor I have ever had before.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Julie from Silver Mount Equestrian, she is patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable, she taught myself and my daughter so much about horses and riding. Her passion and love for these amazing creatures shines through in her teaching technique and I would highly recommend her!

Unfortunately my encounter with Silver Mount Equestrian was much less than satisfactory... As an agistee and potential horse lesson client, I was disgusted with how Julie Du Plessis communicated with her son, about her clients (behind their backs), myself, my daughter and my partner.... I do not recommend this business. I was also displeased with business transactions etc... Unapproachable, unprofessional and disorganised...

We never thought in a million years we would buy our own horse until we met Julie.What an amazing coach is an understatement.Each week my daughter leaves saying that was the best lesson .Amazing trainer both for my daughter and our horse .Highly recommend using her services !

Julie is a miracle worker! It’s so hard to find a good, trustworthy trainer who practises gentle horsemanship and gets almost immediate results. My family, especially my teenage daughter have come so far under Julie’s instruction with our 2 rather cheeky horses and if not for Julie’s patience and knowledge we may have moved a horse on thinking she would never come good for us. I highly recommend Silver Mount Equestrian for training, agistment and advice.

Julie has been absolutely fantastic, she is an incredible teacher and has shown me how to connect and work with my horse in a way we have not previously achieved. I had lost all of my confidence in riding prior to joining Silver Mount Equestrian, Julie has been incredibly patient and has given me some fantastic tips and tricks to improve my confidence. I have used Silver Mount Equestrian for 2yrs now, I've always found Julie to be approachable, informative and with a true love and passion for her horses and clients.Julie has extensive knowledge across all disciplines and will always go above and beyond to help and teach where she can.There is a 1 star review posted about Silver Mount by Amelia Cook - I have first hand knowledge that Amelia had her on property lease of a horse cancelled due to mistreatment of the horse, as a result of this Amelia has decided to try and ruin the business and reputation of one of the most professional and caring horsewomen I have ever met.I highly recommend ignoring Amelia, if you overlook Julie you'll be making a huge mistake, she is a hidden gem in the horse community.
