I have been a student of Andy Campbell for about 7 years, firstly to learn to play acoustic/electric guitar, then electric guitar and lately to learn composition. Since taking on composition, Andy has helped me learn to use Guitar Pro for composing and Logic Pro for recording my own work. Andy is an accomplished guitarist, a working musician, as well as a composer. He has a complete understanding of guitar practice across many different styles and a deep knowledge of music theory. As a teacher of long standing, he familiar with methods for teaching young people, but he is also a wonderful teacher for the adult student, being flexible and empathetic. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Andy is a real find! So rare to find a guy who's both a great guitarist and a great teacher. He can listen to a song, work out the notes; and write out a tab with different ways of playing the song, and explain to pros and cons of the different voicings.
