Tonkin

We were really disappointed with Tonkin. We have heard quite a few horror stories about Tonkin but we were desperate for a plumber after all the rain. We had a guy from Tonkin turn up late for the job, he was about 17 or 18 years old and completely lacking in experience. He had no idea what to suggest and had no advice to offer after inspecting the issue. A complete waste of time and money. Ended up with another plumber from a different company who’s charge out fee was a lot less and he was able to tell us what work we needed from him straight away, unlike Tonkin.Won’t be wasting our time or money with tonkins inexperienced staff ever again. Avoid!

We had previously used Tonkin Plumbing and Electrical to install an Air-conditioner and had agreed to have a yearly service before the summer period is here. Completed on time and always polite, respectful. Thanks Tonkin, great job again

Handy to have gas & electric at the same time to install our oven. Tonkin was great to deal with. Customer service was very helpful and professional. The workers were friendly and professional. Really happy with our experience, we will certainly use Tonkin again.

We used Tonkin and what a waste of time it was. Staff are so under qualified and inexperienced and hourly rate was too high. Terrible workman ship, low quality.

They were excellent. They arrived on time, they were friendly and fixed our split pipe in the wall in a timely manner.

Fixed our gas log heater recently. Everyone from Tonkins was professional, prompt, and courteous.. Excellent communication and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Excellent service when my hot water service stopped working at my investment property. Tonkin were on-site early morning, quoted a new system and everything was install by the afternoon. Highly recommend.

Carlos did a great job of fixing our loo! We had been trying to get it fixed for nearly six months, had seen 2 different plumbrs previousy who came out and then didn't respond. Carlos was there within 24 hours, needed parts and returned within the same week to fi everything. On the day we had a tap break, he went over and above to try and source the part (we have an old house so also old taps etc) - in the end we had to use a new one which he installed within 24 hours. I was super impressd with his work quality, he was very polite, didn't leave any mess behind and had excellent customer service skills - a rare treat these days!!

Mike and his team came out to do some repairs. They were fantastic communicators, respectful and very professional. They even went as far as bringing my parcel inside when I wasn’t home. Not to mention hard workers in this 30+ degree heat. We needed some major repairs done with a busted pipe that needed excavating out, the team had it done in less than 24hrs, very efficient and tidy in their work. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you so much!
