I have been a regular customer of Katy since 2016. To say that her work is excellent is an understatement. She goes above and beyond for her customers. She pays great attention to details and she does everything with perfection. She’s the no 1 in Macquarie centre.

I have been going here for many years and have also sent many customers to her but yesterday the lady that works there was very rude to me all because I told her it was too expensive too get an item done. She went on to tell me she is the cheapest in the centre ….. not true I went somewhere straight after and they where cheaper and didn’t mention the pants where stretchy and would be more expensive. I don’t normally do this but was taken back when she told me not too come again after many years as a customer. To be honest she did me a favour because there are better and more polite alteration centres in Macquarie so this more to say thank you for telling me not too come back I have found better ones and cheaper than you.

Fantastic service!I was able to come in last minute for an alteration on my suit and they fit me in for it to be fixed in under an hour.Great price. Great fit - will definitely use again.

When I went in to get my pants shortened, the staff over the counter told me she didn't have time to serve me and answer my questions. Just pay OR go.The service was terrible, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other tailors in MQ who offer much better customer service. I ended up going to one of their competitor nearby on the same level, and the experience was much more positive. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else for your alterations needs.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Replying owner's response below, some reference for other customers:During my visit to the shop, the reason I had some questions about the technical aspects of the service I was paying for is because the staff mentioned about technical aspects of the service. Unfortunately, the staff brought up the tech part and created concerns to us but did not seem willing to assist me in understanding and, as a result, I felt somewhat frustrated by the interaction. As a paying customer, I believe it is reasonable to expect assistance and guidance in understanding the service being provided. This experience fell short of my expectations in this regard.After my disappointing experience at MQ Alteration, I decided to visit Prestige Alteration on the same floor recommended by Myer staff. I found their service to be significantly better, with dedicated staff assigned to each customer, unlike MQ Alteration where one staff member handles multiple customers. They made decisions for us and didn't create any concerns to us. Additionally, the pricing was relatively more affordable at Prestige Alteration. Overall, I was pleased with my experience at Prestige Alteration and would recommend them to other customers looking for quality service at a reasonable price.

I wanted to shorten my dress, tell the owner she can cut to the desired length. She cut it and sew straight back, no overlocking or roll the hem in. Look at the picture.When picking up the dress she said it will be fine as the fabric is nice ???I had to remove the stitch completely and when coming back she said because I asked her to, and that I wanted a cheap service! What a joke !!! It was a Zimmermann dress! Never ever again!
