When our charity Free 3D Hands relocated to our new design centre, we wanted to use only local trades to complete the fit-out-and I am so glad that we chose Smiths Beach Electrical to take care of the electrical installation. Over my career as an engineer, I have never seen such tidy, well-planned wire routing or such attention to detail. It was a very extensive fit-out with hundreds of power outlets, light switches, fans, electric blinds and a large upgrade to our distribution board to accommodate solar and battery installation. Chris was very diligent, always reachable by phone, and was able to manage his installation to work alongside other contractor works happening at the same time. Chris was also supportive in coming back to do additional work at a later date, as well as to support us with a letter from an electrician to support a faulty appliance claim that we had. My wife and I have have used Smiths beach electricity services many times. We rate the work that Chris delivers to be be of a very high standard both from a compliance and aesthetic perspective. Chris isn’t the cheapest but also is far from the most expensive - our view is that you get what you pay for and we have been very satisfied. In October 2022 we settled on our new to us forever home in Cowes which needed updating even though it was only 14yo. We were recommended by another local electrician, who could not do the job, to use Chris and he was able to help us with 44 down lights, several additional power points including a generator external connection and a 15amp caravan power point, external spot lights and a meter box tidy up. Chris and his 2 helpers did an amazing job in just 2 days and were efficient, tidy, considerate, helpful and above all extremely professional. I would recommend Smiths Beach Electrical to anyone, they did an excellent job. Thanks Chris.February 2023 - I need to add to my 5 star review. Called Chris as I needed 4 ceiling fans installed asap as i had guests staying on the coming weekend and the forecast was hot weather. He squeezed me in and spent nearly 5hrs doing the job including working in the ceiling with 30+ outside temperatures. Chris is a gentleman and takes great pride in his work so once again I highly recommend Chris for all electrical work. Thanks again Chris, very much appreciated.
