Absolutely love their service! I bought my first surfboard from them as well as two other wet suits and have become completely hooked. Every time I have been in their store they have given me excellent personalized advice for my level of experience. Basically they have a customer for life. :)

Just popped in for advice as I'm a complete novice!Super friendly guys that make you feel welcome, gave me advice on what i need to get started not pushy at all. I will be back in a couple of weeks for the starter pack!

Great surf shop! Huge range and great customer service. Purchased a locally shaped Zak Ringmaster (large fish) for a very reasonable price. Board goes great, paddles easily into waves and very stable pop up, glides well but doesn't have the bully feeling of a long board. Very happy all round.

Am only a couple of years into surfing and could not ask for a better place to go to. In a time where lifelong surfers seem a little agitated about new people taking it up, the staff at Zak's are kind and generous with their time and support, which is comforting.For example, I recently ordered a board and the wrong one came in. Damian and Sam spent a heap of time with me discussing the right option and let me keep and use the 'wrong board' while the new one was made. I am still overwhelmed by this service. They are just good humans, which is nice to encounter. Thanks guys - I will no doubt be back soon, either to spend more cash fixing a ding, or trying to learn more from you!

Great experience purchasing my second board. Walked in expecting to buy what I had picked out but left with the right board tailored to my level of fitness and skill. Definitely recommend!

Zak gave Me heaps of helpful information about safe areas to take the kids and the best products to use to progress their skill

Bought an 8ft foam board, wanted to return it for a 7.5ft because it was too large for my car and shed. They claim I damaged the board even though it never came out of the bag, no exchange possible. There are scratches on the board that would not be possible to make on the board with the bag on it and there are no scratches on the bag. I believe they sold me a damaged board.

I can not rate this shop any higher. Every time I come to this shop the service is amazing. All the guys are friendly, helpful with no egos. They really are there to help you out, with nointention to scam novice or intermediate surfers

Just bought my second board from these guys - such a good experience, Sam was super friendly and gave me loads of good advice and a ridiculously good deal on a second hand board to fit my skill level. Couldn't be happier!
