AUSDOG Grooming

Ive Been going to Ruth`s establishment just over a year now and once again Ive taken my best friend, Chewy, for a full groom at Count Dogula`s. The Groomer did an awesome job in cutting his hair and doing his nails, basically a complete groom. The staff were super friendly, I will definitely continue using their services. Keep up the great work and once again thank you to all @ Count Dogula`s !!

A number of bad experiences here.From picking my Samoyed with he’s coat fully shaved off.Leaving my dog sitting there for 4 hours then decide to call me and cancel appointment on top of a cancelled appointment before this one.Price change from $180 to $300.Expensive, very unreliable and did not deliver a service they offer.

Great quality grooms at very affordable prices! Great reception staff and groomers are great, had them come out and explain the process. You can see the dogs being groomed, very open, clean and comfortable.

I was taking my dog to Count Dogulas for about a year and a half. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and Ruth is nice.Unfortunately, on two occasions my dog had to go to the vet because of hair that had gone into his eyes, causing ulcers on both eyes. He needed to be treated with antibiotics on both occasions at a cost of over $500 for each visit. Ruth was kind enough to offer to pay for vet bills (we did not accept) and gave us a free groom.For this to happen twice to an 8 year old dog, and it has not happened before or since, has led us to believe (with the Vet's advice) that Count Dogulas do not take enough care ensuring that all dog hair has been cleaned up after each groom (especially since the holding cages are in a very close proximity to the grooming stations). That fact, partnered with the foul smell of wet, old dog hair has made it impossible for me to believe they practice a high standard of cleaning/hygiene, which has led to my dog's serious eye injuries.If the cleanliness of this establishment was improved we would consider coming back because Ruth is so nice. However, I don't think that will happen.

We took our rescue pup here because of the reviews. They really stood out and lived up to their reputation. They were extremely sympathetic when we booked and we said that he’s a VERY anxious dog and that he can get a little nuts sometimes. They told us to come in early mornings to make it easier. When we arrived they immediately got him started before it got too busy and he got too anxious. We were very worried leaving him there as he’s not reactive but he’s a big strong boy and wasn’t sure if they’d be able to handle him if he started jumping and trying to get away (he does this at home with his claws) and we weren’t sure how he’d do with a bath in an unfamiliar place. However they didn’t mention any major issues and he seemed to love everyone there! They gave us a great way to try and get him comfortable in the shop and are willing to work with us and help us get him more comfortable. He obviously has very short fur so we didn’t expect much more than a bath but he hasn’t shed since coming back from them as they did a FANTASTIC job on his undercoat. Thanks so much team! He’s a big happy boy and although he’s a bit nervous and anxious especially with other dog energy around, we are extremely grateful for your patience and work with him. We want him to get comfortable in the world and your patience will help us get him there.

Visited this Salon on Saturday, had the best experience! It started with Dahlia (front of house) helping me endlessly with my enquires not making me feel stupid to Megan going out of her way to do the groom I wished. Nothing was an issue, thank you girls you made my first experience incredible. Highly recommend.

I took my puppy Bumi for one of the complimentary puppy grooms advertised on their website. Despite being free of charge, they were perfectly professional, polite, and did a fantastic job on Bumi! I was so surprised when they brought him out, he looked like a totally different (way cuter) dog! They were quite thorough and covered all the usual bases, even without me specifically asking (between paws, privates, around the eyes, around the tail, neat brush of and fragrance on the body). They had a list of notes on how he did as well, which they read to me when I went to pick him up. He’s a shy pup, but he didn’t seem too shaken, only sleepy. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future to get my messy Moodle pup nice and pretty again!

They did such an amazing job on our little Border Collie. They seem to be booked out in advance but we can see why. It's well worth the wait. Recommend them to anyone after a groomer in the area. Good work guys.
