It's a nice waterfall, but can take quite a bit of time to reach there. The road from kinglake central to the waterfall (Extons road) was quite nice especially as it was a foggy day.

Shady narrow uneven path, (not wheelchair friendly) exposed tree roots to look out for, small viewing platform to see a small waterfall, steep incline on return journey, ok for the fit walker.

This is a short walk of 1.5kms but is reasonably easy with good views. It is at its best after rain. Track becomes a bit slippery but if taken slowly no issues

Beautiful 15-20min hike to the falls lookout platform. You can choose to go down a couple different trails. Once at the platform the views are quite nice. The day I went the falls were a bit dried out but still a nice walk. Will definitely go back and go down the hill to the base of the falls.

I only have 3 stars because of the view from the platform is so far away from the falls. Is an easy walk of about 750m from the car park via a dirt track and the odd step.The water fall split into two and continues to flow down a small stream. I'm certain in heavy rain it would flow quite quick.What a really love about this place is how untouched it is and so dense with ferns and trees.Even though I have it three stars it is still with a drive if you are near by.There are no toilets or other facilities. This is pure nature experience.Please take your rubbish home, enjoy and leave it untouched.

“Your weapons - you will not need them” - YodaIf you are game - head beyond the viewing platform to a wondrous cavernous journey through the ferns to the base of the falls. You may just find only that which you take with you.

quite beautiful! common car is enough, no need for 4wd because the dirt road is clean, flat, and dry. There is an obvious track beside the viewing platform. Go down the track to find the real beautiful scenery! But I don't recommend you to do so because that route is pretty slippery. By the way, I think this waterfall is like a peacock as I showed here. So I called it Peacock Spring.

Nice work walking track to the waterfalls. But when you reach the small platform, there's nothing much else to see. Unless, you past the barriers and walk down the steep narrow path to the bottom of the falls.

Beautiful and simple 1.5km loop to the observation platform, I've done both versions of the loop and recommend starting on the left side and coming back on the right. For those who enjoy a bit more of a challenge there's a steep trail off to the right of the platform that leads to the base of the waterfall and for the extra challenge waterfall is definitly climbable, as long as you don't mind getting a bit dirty. Top of waterfalls is maybe 0.5 km from viewing platform, but is a nice challenging climb both ways. Whole loop and side trek would take the average climber just over and hour out and back. No climbing equipment needed just good shoes.
