I've been to many mechanics on the Coffs Coast and am 110% satisfied with AutoMax. Not only do I feel like they listen they are extremely efficient with their service and couldn't be happier with their expert experience and advice and of course their pricing. Won't be going anywhere else. I can't recommend highly enough.

The service person spilt oil all over the engine bay and didn't clean it up, the amount of oil there could've started a fire had we not checked.

After relocating to the area, I was worried I wouldn’t find a mechanic I could trust & who offered the same level of service, skill & honesty as my previous one. On referral, I contacted Automax - not only did they squeeze me in for my pink slip, they also offered guidance on best timing of my next service (given the distances I’d been travelling during the move) and offered tyre care/wheel alignment as well, as that was also due! Clear communication, easy explanation of the car’s needs, skilled mechanics who treat your car with care, on time & friendly service, well located for busy working owners and well priced... thank you Automax team - you’ve found yourself a long term customer. Highly recommend.

Have been dealing with Automax for years. Very good service. Had problem with car and suggestion by friend was take it to Dealer that specializes in make of car. Hyundai. Big mistake!! Was extremely unhappy with service. Looking forward to going back to regular mechanic at Automax. I value their honesty and integrity. Give me Automax anyday. I recommend if you are looking for honesty try Automax.

I’ve been to auto max twice now, once as my car wouldn’t start and the last time because my engine light came on again, the team is amazing and after a bad experience with another mechanic with a previous car around pink slip time made me nervous about finding a new person to take care of my car but the team treated me with nothing but kindness even over the phone

Pretty sad to be honest with you.I tried to keep in contact with them to see when my car would be ready and had nothing but hassle and rude costumer servesI was told these people are nice but they really hate talking on the phoneThis was when my son was getting a life saving surgery mind you so i had heaps on my plate already... Not worth the stress Good bye :/

Had a bull bar installed in 2021 on toyota hilux, Marcus ordered a bull bar for the wrong year model hilux and then lied to me saying it was the right one and said i had to order parts to make it fit. I called AFN ( the company that makes bullbar) and they said that he must of ordered wrong one, Marcus acted clueless amd then ordered the right one. 6 months later the right one came. Had it installed and bolts came loose 1 weeks later, had to take it to other mechanic to fix and has been perfect since.
