Boolimba Bluff
Amazing views, steep climb but totally worth it. Only one lookout in Carnarvon Gorge and only place where you will find reception.

Mint spot, don't forget to pack the drone. You'll want to leave about an hour before sunrise to give yourself time for the walk up, it can get pretty vertical in bits. Definitely worth it for those views - photos don't do it credit

Absolutely awesome. It's at Carnarvon Gorge. Hardest walk there 6.5 klm with 200 metres of straight up. You have to be fit. Spectacular views.

Decent climb will test your fitness, but the views from the bluff are memorable. Very spiritual place at dawn.

What a great way to start the morning! Definitely recommend the sunrise walk up to Boolimba Bluff. Despite sadly not seeing the sunrise because of the crazy fog, such a great experience. Not too difficult but definitely gets the heart rate up, climbing up all those steps.The only issue is the crazy clay at the top, which definitely wasn't a fan of haha Don't wear White shoes! But just a bit of extra fun you can't do anything about - so why not laugh about it!

Absolutely amazing experience, it’s not a walk in the park, but it is truly worth the effort. Would suit people who had a fairly good level of fitness as there are approximately 1000 stairs to climb and the walk itself is approximately 6.8km from the Visitor centre. We absolutely loved it!!

Don’t miss this place! 2.2km one way off the main track (mostly uphill with a steep 300m section). We went with our multi day packs and made it for sunrise (we allowed approx 1.5 hrs). We were treated by other visitors to a glass of wine for the sunrise. Incredible views on sunny days and overcast days!Check out more at:@ultimateaussiebucketlist (insta, FB, web)

Absolutely brilliant and so worth the hike/climb. We did this with our 7 and 8 year old children. We took our time, had plenty of water and snacks, and reached the top in under an hour and a half.Definitely worth the effort and doable with children if they are active (and have good walking shoes/boots)
