Indian Hut Restaurant Hornsby
I am completely baffled by some of the reviews for Indian Hut. Thankfully we didn't pay too much attention to them and decided to try Indian Hut anyway. We are very happy that we did. We ordered the $60 family meal and we were very impressed. The portion sizes were generous and the food was tasty. We will definitely be ordering again soon.

The Indian hut is a quaint place to eat once in while. Pricing is affordable but I wouldn’t eat here every night. The meals took 20 to 30 minutes to arrive (20 minutes brought us our plates and 30 when the food arrived). The dishes where tasty and enjoyable. Only complaint being utensils weren’t the cleanest.

Dreadful. I ordered prawn curry extra extra hot and it arrived mild and was more like a 1970s bland gravy than a fragranced Indian curry. The naan was oily and spongy and they only managed to get the rice right and left off my cucumber raita. Overpriced and bland and would not recommend it or order again.

Favourite local Indian restaurant, great food and great staff. The prices are pretty cheap for Indian food. Only thing I would say is the wait for the food when it’s busy can get a bit hectic, but when it’s not that busy it’s a great cozy place to have dinner, definitely recommend!

The restaurant itself is poorly situated, however the ambience is lovely and cozy. The food itself is OK, just not the best Indian food I've ever eaten, nor is it the worst. The owner was incredibly friendly, communicative with a minor delay and there was a steady stream of takeaways. The food value was amazingly cheap, great value for these frugal times.

Took take out food on a Monday night wasnt that busy when I arrived and the food was absolutely scrumptious! I cant believe these awful reviews. There was a lovely female staff who handed me the food. I bought a couple pack which was only $45 which was a great deal. Naan was still nice and warm and the curries where amazing especially the chicken tikka masala. Definitely ordering here again!

On a cold wet day, who doesn't want a warm and spicy meal. So glad we ordered our food from here. The food that was delivered was clearly labelled which is a huge plus for our varied diets. The Aloo Gobi was my absolute favourite The vegetables were cooked beautifully and the mix of the spices with the sweetness just made my mouth sing with pleasure. The naans were a delight, even though at first glance they appeared burnt on one side. The chicken tikka masala sauce was rich; however we discovered a number of small bits of bone as we were eating - which was concerning as it's the dish we bought especially for the kids. Will try this again sometime

I wish i had a 0 star for authencity and efficiency for this place. Total waste of my time, took an hour and half to deliver to a place 2 mins away. Staff was irresponsive and clueless where the driver was. Thanks for burnt food. What a day i had to end it with this food to eat.
