Quest Windsor

Staff was unhelpful and seemed a bit uninterested. When we asked what foods were nearby she just shrugged lolElevator very very old and jolts between floors, you literally have to hold onto the handle bar to stay upright.Showers are tiny, I’m 5’9 and had my knees bent the whole shower...Quite dirty and the beds feel like you’re sleeping on a concrete slab.However, good location and washing machine and ironing board available was nice

The room was gross. Tiny shower. Water damaged carpets. Horrible sheets. Noisy right next to the road. Will not stay again. We've been to plenty of Quests and this one was by far the worst.

Solid apartment style hotel room. Ours had a good sized kitchen, a small lounge room, washer and dryer, ironing board and drying rack. The carpets/walls are a bit run down and there's a small bit of mould in the shower. It's a good location, with plenty to do within a short tram ride and the tram is just out the front door. A solid stay if you need the location and facilities.

Good appartment at a good price. The service is very good. The staff offered to help me with my bags when I got there which was nice.All the appliances could have been better. The tv only had SBS, and they only had basic pots pans and utensils.

Cleanliness is non-existent. Extremely rundown, cupboards in a disgusting condition. Carpet is so filthy and seems to have never been vacuumed .. definitely not vacuumed during our stay. Blanket we wanted to use was full of what we're calling mucus" (who knows?)

Pros: Convenient location with a quick tram ride to Chapel St. The was a kitchen, but we didn't do so can't comment on whether it had the right equipment for cooking. Full size hair dryer in the bathroom. Bathroom also had washer and dryer. Would be convenient for longer stays.Cons: Room was quite dark, there was mould in the shower cubicle, getting into the shower cubicle is quite a squeeze (larger people may have issues getting in!), the bathroom door didn't properly slide shut so no privacy when in the bathroom, vinyl flooring in bathroom felt dirty. Also it was very hit and miss with the room card actually working to let us in. Had to try multiple times before it would work every time we tried to access our room.

Reasonable rooms in slightly older building. Slight problem with shower in small raised bath making it not as comfortable as would like. Not great if you struggle stepping up into or down from baths. Otherwise excellent service by staff and adequately furnished room..

We paid so much, yet literally got the worst room, got there sheets were dirty and the covers were dirty, carpet stinks and to top it off the aircorn/heaters were disgusting and smelt. Very noisy and unfriendly stuff. Definitely not coming back. The shower was soooo small it was so hard to even go in, We struggled to open the balcony door as it’s so old.

Stayed for 3 night's for a business trip and hoo boy what an absolute dump! The walls are mushroom pink with brown skirting, bathroom had slate look vinyl flooring, carpet was dirty brown with stains all over it. There was a stain on the cloth bedhead and on the sheets. There were holes in the wall. There were 2 locked adjoining doors in each room and someone was trying to open from the other side, probably just checking to see if it was locked but they left the light on so I had light glaring under the locked door for 3 nights. My dog's kennel is in better condition than Quest Windsor. Needs to be refurbished ASAP.

Great really location with the convenience of public transport very close byBUT, the room we booked was in major need of a refurbishment. The lounge suite was really horrible. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom good so for a three star establishment these rooms I had no fault with. Just the lounge room, kitchen and kitchen equipment - old and well past their use by date.The staff were excellent and were very helpful but I feel they are wasted working in this establishment. A more up market hotel should head hunt them.It's a shame the owners of this hotel don't see it as travellers do.Sorry to be a bit of a winger but as I said before, a great location, lovely staff but that doesn't make up for comfort.
