BIG4 Hervey Bay Holiday Park

The cabin was very nice however the pool is in very bad condition, it has been lined with some kind of vinyl (I can only assume this is due to the original pool having a leak or needing repairs?) this plastic /vinyl whatever it was is pulling away from the pool which was not a pleasant feeling to touch, the water was also very dirty and cloudy and was not maintained well enough to keep up with the amount of people using the pool not to mention the water level was very low. This park is very run down and in need of some major maintenance and updates, all in all I wouldn't say it was worth the money as we didn't use the pool 4 out of the 6 days we were there because it was very dirty and unappealing, the cleanliness of the camping showers and toilets was very bad as well I am glad we stayed in a cabin however even the cleanliness of that when we arrived wasn't great. If you have kids I would spend a little bit more and book one of the places closer to the main strip of Hervey bay as they looked a lot better looked after.

Clean, very tidy facilities. Great for kids, older adults and dogs! Showers were the best in the business. 200m walk to an off leash shorefront. About 1km to a beach for swimming. Magnificent, quiet area and welcoming staff. Will be back!

This was amazing would recommend this so much we stayed for 3 weeks and we have already booked again and are all so excited to come again staff are all so friendly was so nice and pool was so nice and the kids room was great my sisters were in there most of the time

We stayed in a cabin at the park and loved our stay.The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the park is clean and easy to get around with a great pool and the location is incredible. The owners are in the process of updating the place but have done a great job this far.

What a great place to stay. Quieter part of town but everywhere is accessible from here. Clean amenities with a generous helping of enthusiastic staff make it a must. Not our first stay here and not our last. Try it and see. Thank you Big 4 Hervey Bay.

Awesome camping ground for your Campervan and awesome staff as well. We only wanted to stay for one night but on their website it stated 2 nights minimum, so we called and the caretaker/ manager was very friendly and directly booked us in for the requested night. 37 AUD for a powered concrete site. We even received an additional 10% discount as our Campervan is a rental (some special promotion which you wouldn’t get when booking online). The campsite offers nice hot showers, really good laundry and dryer for 4 $ each and a nice equipped camp kitchen.The friendly manager helped us as well with some local information which we’re highly appreciated.Thanks for everything!

We stayed here in our Tent which was spacious, tidy, close to amenities.Staff and management were very friendly and helpful, advised us about upcoming events.. egCoffee vans , Pizza, Easter activities, all within the complex.We were greeted with a smile, felt welcome,Love this place.
