Food was amazing.. stuffs are very friendly.. the location is very convenient.. if you don't want to drive, you can always catch a train as it is very close to Central station, just a 5 min walk.. The interior of the restaurant is very nice.. the pricing is very reasonable comparing to the amount of food you will get.. we had a great time here.. I am definitely coming back again.. highly recommended!

Disappointing. Best avoided. Had great promise with the absolutely fabulous satay chicken skewers (10/10) but the Penang noodles with prawn and pork came out and...yuck. It tasted so overly fishy from the prawns that I couldn't finish it. The Roast Duck noodles almost redeemed Malay Malay. Very light kecap manis sauce with freshly grated ginger and chopped spring onion, quite nice. The duck itself was a little on the salty side though. But they forgot our order so it took them a long time to get it to our table.Overall staff vibe was that of an understaffed and stressed crew. The Uncle serving us seemed to often be having a go at his younger female Chinese helper.Maybe there was tension in the kitchen that resulted in delays with dishes and the prawn mishap?

I was so pleased with the outstanding service they provided. They went above and beyond to fulfil our craving. It’s my husband birthday and we went to Malay Malay Chinese restaurant. My husband wanted something that’s not really on the menu and they kindly made that happen.

Excellent food. Tasted like I was back in Malaysia! Ordered the curry Laksa and roti and both were fresh and excellent. Large portions and not too expensive. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for classic Malaysian food like what they serve at Kopitiams!

We arrived late (10.30pm) and were eagerly welcomed inside. The food was absolutely delicious, very generously sized and surprisingly cheap too. All the staff were really friendly. I'll happily come back anytime.

Not a fan! The dishes we ordered were so blant.- I ordered a chicken laksa and it came with a dark pork cut which I didn't order. The flavour did not taste like laksa more like a chicken broth that had coconut flavour added.- I also ordered the Malaysian style fried rice with prawns and anchovies, the rice was overcooked and tasted like congee.- we also ordered the coconut milk rice with fried anchovies and peanuts the beef rendang flavour. The rice isn't suppose to be yellow as the picture it shows white! Coconut rice shouldn't be turmeric flavoured. There isn't much parking! If you are wanting to come here my best advice would be to catch public transport. It's a shame the experience wasn't good. Hopefully they continue to evolve there menu.

Tasty Malaysian food for good value. Hainan chicken ($17) was succulent although rice could have more chicken flavour and char kway teow ($16) was flavoursome and had generous amount of toppings. Restaurant has comfortable seatingYou can get a free soft drink when you give a 5 star review on google

After landing in Sydney had a lovely lunch here - hainanese chicken rice and also couldn’t resist 6 pork dumplings too. Hainanese chicken rice was different to what I’ve had before in Singapore but still lovely! Staff nice and was a decent price too at only $28 for everything
