Mona Castle Hotel
Service is good and friendly. Pub meals were pretty ordinary, not well prepared and no seasoning. We ordered the spaghetti seafood - the lobster was overcooked, a here were no greens or fresh herbs. The parmi was blend, not crusty no seasoning, the schintz salad, the chicken had some sort of marinade that tasted like the ones purchased at the supermarket. Not a good food experience at all.

Went on a Monday night for the Chicken parma and love what they have done with the place. Great renovations have the back part (behind the bar) looking very elegant. Food was delicious and happy to see the place up and running again. Will return for the steak night soon.

Mona Castle Hotel
We love Mona Castle! It’s our go to local pub. We prefer it to all the Yarraville & Footscray pubs. The steak night on Wednesdays is great. The burgers are good. The service is always good.

Game changer for Seddon! Cozy little pub with great food and friendly staff who go out of their way to meet your needs. We went on a Sunday afternoon and hung around for the night, the staff were able to get a table together for us last minute and very easy going about it. Highly recommend!! Parma best I’ve had in a long time!!!!

Great pub, atmosphere, seating and staff. Dim sims and garlic bread were delicious. My partner really enjoyed the barramundi and the presentation was excellent. I ordered the schnitzel salad - the walnut salad with it was excellent; but the chicken, my daughter and I didn’t enjoy, I expected chicken Schnitz pieces but its not what you’d expect - it seems like a pressed chicken piece with quite intense Smokey flavours on it, so not a schnitzel as it says on the menu. Aside from that we love Mona Castle, have been before and loved it, and will def go again.

Nice local pub in Seddon close to the station. Has a good sized courtyard, doggy friendly. Very basic but cosy. Open fire inside for cold evenings.Monday is Parma night for $18. It was cooked well and a very decent sized portion.

Steaks ordered as medium rare, but two came out medium. Lacked seasoning. Salad was nice.

You can’t go wrong having a Carlton Draught on tap in the beer garden and a $20 steak every Wednesday. Be careful with the parking around the area during permit zone hours. There is usually plenty of parking on Victoria street (adjacent).

Love this pub! The best pub feed around, great value too. Recently had a family birthday dinner here and everyone kept commenting how great the food was!

Love the Mona Castle, staff are always friendly and attentive. We had a chicken parm and cheese burger, which were both really enjoyable. Great place for a mid week meal.
