Icon Adventures

We used icon adventures to plan our trip to south America and what an adventure that was, thanks to Suzanne's professional planning. We saw Machu Picchu after a 3 day trek which was challenging at times but Suzanne prepared us well. Then we went to the Amazon rainforest for some beautiful R&R. We left our tour buddies in Lisbon and Suzanne had planned an extension of our trip to see the Iguazu Falls both from Brazil and Argentina. Our last stop was Rio de Janeiro where we met a very knowledgeable tour guide, who showed us all the beautiful sights which again suzanne organised for us. We were totally happy with our 4 week tour all organised so professionally by this beautiful knowledgeable lady. It was lovely to go on a holiday that I did not have to plan or worry about if it was going to all work out. Beautiful memories for us all thanks to Suzanne.

My experience of going on an adventure with Suzanne from Icon Adventures has been delightful. Recently, I went on a Micro Adventure to the Sunshine Coast where I enjoyed time with a lovely group of like-minded folk, learning to cook Thai food, sharing a meal and then following that up the next day kayaking in the clear ocean waters of Double Island Point.Everything was well organised and well presented. The other companies that were engaged to provide the unique experiences were great at what they do too.Not having to spend the time organising all the details was fantastic for me...life has been too busy lately and it just wouldn't have happened if I had to make all the arrangements myself, plus, I don't really have a dozen friends on hand to join me on this type of trip and it wouldn't be the same on my own.Now, I have a dozen new friends, and lovely memories from this micro adventure. I'm already looking forward to the next one!

We have used Icon Adventures for a number of holidays. These have included international holidays ( Africa & USA ) as well as a number of holidays in Australia. Really love the variety this business offers. Adrenalin adventure to nature walks to cultural education or cooking classes. Small group make for friendly atmosphere and loads of fun.

fantastic micro adventure at the Sunshine Coast, unfortunately cut short by a snap lockdown but so much fitted into a day and a half! Couldn't fault it.

We did the China Great Wall walk with Icon. It was amazing and so well organised.

Used Suzie at Icon To travel through northern Ethiopia on group tour. Best tour we have ever done. Visited Bar Hadar, Lake Tana, Grace Children's Home, Simeon Mountains, Gelada Baboons, Gondar , Lalibela, Rock Hewn churches. Accomodation, flights, trekking armed guards, tour guides, flights all organised. In a country where everything can go a little crazy, Suzie was amazing, and everything ran really smoothly.Highly recommend Icon, and cannot wait to do southern Ethiopia tour with Suzie one day.
